Brandon writes on his laptop, he uses DFH to write like a lot of us do. It's the perfect writing tool. Gene is a badass, but he's so busy with touring for Dethklok, Fear Factory, even Testament that writing with his input would be impossible.

the songs on the albums are done by Gene Hoglan, the versions in the show are using the drum machine. So basically the songs in the show are like demos. You can hear the damn difference people.

There is no drum machine. Why would you think that when its clearly stated that Gene Hoglan is the drummer for Dethklok and the show. If he uses a drum machine, its not for these songs. Especially when I saw Gene play it live at one of their shows.

@jp6794 Yes, but if u know abt DFH and Toontrack software, (as well as programming) you can assign the DFH kit to a digital drumkit, so he might be playing the trigger kit, using DFH sounds!

That doesn't mean they can't use toontrack for him to learn as he may learn by ear on some of his songs, It's all different on how someone learns, brendon small would write it along with gene and then put it into the EZ drummer app and get gene to learn and play fropm there. >:)
