  • Hold on I have some extra cash for you .

  • "she must be a good shot!" LOL well yea i wouldn't expect her to miss when the guy is trying to rape her hahhahah

  • @1androo2 There is a myth and pretty common misconception about the lethality of .22cal, .22LR, and .22mag rounds. They are quite possibly the most dangerous bullets out there. Look at the rifle we use in the military. It is a glorified .22caliber weapon. .223/5.56x45mm. When a .22cal hits something it has the tendency to "tumble" through the object. On a human, when it strikes bone, it will ricochet. I shot a guy in the chest and the round came out his thigh. Just saying .22 rocks!

  • This is one "macabre" video. =p

  • Brave people! are who rely on .22. I'm coward: 9 mm is the caliber I rely upon...

  • Oh well, he won't be trying to rape no one else!

  • Of course the neighbor who said "if I had a gun i'd do the same thing.." just made her self a target because she does not have a gun.

  • I just love a good outcome. OUT STANDING!

  • Great job, See this is way people need to have a pistol near by. To stop evil when it comes for you.You just don't know when evil looks at you. When it come to take your life,Are you going to be ready.

Great job killing the evil one.One more gone.Good always wins over evil.

God has his angle looking over you. God bless you.

  • @NRAGreer - lol... that's hilarious, "God has his angle"

good pun... i know you meant 'Angel,' but 'Angle' works just as well because he's above us and has a better angle on things... very good!

  • @1androo2 As beautiful as the thought of gardian angels sound, I have doubts. There are far more tragic events that happen to good God fearing people for it to be true. When they do, we ask God why, when we're spared we claim to be guarded by an invisible man with wings. Luck is more like it.

  • @PhantomLyric "There are far more tragic events that happen to good God fearing people for it to be true" Could I see the statistics you used for that?

  • @CaesarsDecree Come on. You don't really need statistics for something as common sense as that. Seriously think about it. Do you know how many cancer patients die that are Christian?? How many die in horrible, flaming car accidents? That died on 9/11? Innocent children stricken with childhood cancers and die before their 3rd birthday? Even to God fearing, devout Christian parents? I don't seriously need to point any of that out to you. I believe in God, but some things are just common sense.

  • @PhantomLyric Prayer doesn't exclude the righteous from calamity. Such a notion is devoid of scriptural basis. Come on. Seriously, think about it.

  • @CaesarsDecree Right, but like I was saying, There are just as many people that are wicked who would chock their survival up to chance than there are good God fearing people who are victims of calamity. The bible also say those kind of people will be destroyed. Not their souls in death, but their physical body. That doesn't happen as often as it should either. And if God is truly all knowing, I wonder why he doesn't smite all the people who will never change their view. Hmm????

  • @PhantomLyric Your hermeneutics are flawed on several levels. God IS all knowing. However the purpose of achieving His glory is not found in "smiting all the people who will never change their view." Since you seem to know the scriptures so well, you should also know that "God has compassion on whom He will, and will harden whom He will." Hmm....

  • @CaesarsDecree God has never been "compassionate" toward haters and blasphemers and you won't find a bible verse that says he was; backsliders, yes. In fact, God is ruthless. There are people who piss on the bible and die strict atheist but this is the same God who killed over several small children for mocking a priest? Meh... I'm a Christian and I believe in God and the bible, I just don't believe in the people of the church and I've learned to read the bible objectively.

  • @PhantomLyric Peter was a "blasphemer"... Paul was a "hater"... I have found SEVERAL verses that say God was compassionate to such people. NO WHERE does the Bible attribute God to being ruthless. Elijah was a prophet. God has mercy on whom he has mercy. Read Romans 9, since it is blatantly obvious you haven't. Instead of reading the Bible "objectively" perhaps you should read it "personally".

  • @PhantomLyric - definitely not luck. Well ok it was pretty lucky getting tossed onto her bed, although that is probably statistically likely. Perhaps not a guardian angel either, the only thing that saved her was quick thinking and the spirit to survive

  • @1androo2 Yup.

  • I wish we had CCW in Canada.

  • I don't get the message in the description box "Shame on the NRA and gun rights advocates for seeking to protect this womans right to defend herself"? I thought the NRA is a good thing?

  • @AggressiveNarcissism

    Its sarcasm.

  • Fuck yeah! This is a happy ending. I can't believe gun control idiots...

  • @unicursalhex Hey they are not making fun of the nra. Just putting it up for the dumb people that think that way...In till it happens to them. Then it's to late.

  • .22 has same KILLING power as any other pistol caliber... if you compare the death rates of gunshot victims from .22 to 9mm or .45 acp its roughly the same at 20-25% . Main difference is STOPPING power or how quickly your body shuts down from being shot.

  • @D41ryQueen The stopping power part is true but to say that .22 is just as lethal is not, even if the statistics back it up, that doesn't make it true. You dont know how many more times .22 was used in self defense/killing over those other calibers. If it got used 3 times as many times, then its not more deadly, just more used. Understand...

  • +1

  • Call me paranoid but I carry a gun EVERYWHERE I go. Even in the bathroom, I have a pistol in there.

  • Mr. Groober's right you have to be a good shot in order to kill them with a .22, that's amazing !!!

  • @1:06 Thats my kinda neighbor.

  • "Gun control: The theory that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her panty hose, is somehow morally superior to a woman explaining to police how her attacker got that fatal bullet wound." — L. Neil Smith

  • I really like that one guy Interviewed. * Excellent she must be a great shot *

  • Comment removed

  • Proof that any gun will do, as long as you are willing to act. Although a .22 may be less than recommended for self defense, the fact she killed her assailant and stopped the attack proves that having a gun, ANY gun is better than none at all. I am impressed that the .22 seems to be more lethal than commonly given credit. So far, I've seen a couple of these videos where a 22 handgun successfully stopped and killed an assailant.

  • @00Klingon My moms best friends husband was killed by a .22 - one shot to the heart area.

"Wayne Francis Age 49, of Buellton, CA, formerly of Elmira, died very unexpectedly on March 16, 2005 as a result of a "Road Rage" shooting. Wayne was born on December 19, 1955 in Elmira. Wayne was a painting contractor for 15 years in Santa Ynez, CA. He was a loving family man and was active in the church. Wayne was also active in his community."

I can't post the whole thing due to space restrictions.

  • This woman was defending herself in her home! Now liberal gun control person take that and shove it up your liberal winey ass. Now bargain with a bullet instead of words.

  • Shame on the NRA and gun rights advocates for seeking to protect this woman's right to defend herself!-TheArmedCitizen ?

  • @Dtnzero its sarcasm

  • @CorpPitbull oh thx

  • @Dtnzero You probably didn't too do well in school, I assume.

  • @D41ryQueen pretty hard to detect sarcasm without sound

  • Comment removed

  • Now that's gun control

  • Mike Groober said what we're all thinking. Anyone that could take someone down with a .22 is a good shot.

  • thumbs up for dead rapists

  • @machetey I usualy dont suport killing, even in self-defense but fuck I hope this guy died in pain.

  • @machetey NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Protect your right to own guns, join the National Rifle Association.

  • I like guy's reaction: "Excellent ! ..." Indeed it is.

  • Double the pleasure

    Double the fun

    When rapists get popped

    With a double deuce gun

    More banga banga

    Less bunga bunga

  • I did a little of my own research on this story and the .22 pistol she used was a ruger mark III.

  • @Chris4400

more like a good person would not do that to anyone but what law makers don't seem to understand is that people do exist that will victimize anyone that they see as weak. if they break the law already then how is passing stricter gun laws going to effect them? it won't.

  • Good story for those that think that the .22 is a sissy round!

  • @KryptKeeper40 Well to be honest she shot him several times and he managed to walk out of the house before collapsing.

Cheap Ammo and easy CC in the summertime, but personal opinion I'd rather a 9mm.

  • @MachShot1337 The important thing is that she stopped the threat. Something always beats nothing!

  • I want to live in that neighborhood dammit everyone thinks like me when it comes to protecting yourself. Its nice for once not to here any liberal bitching about gun bans for once. Gun ownership downright saved this lady. Props

  • The neighbor said, "if I had a gun..." I sure hope she does, or at least will buy one now after this incident so close to home. This is another example of how the struck down DC laws mandating your gun be either taken apart, or unloaded can get you killed or raped.

  • @Chris4400

Some really good points. I can only hope that dc will pass a law allowing carry during everyday activities. The supreme court decision sealed the right inside the home but what good would that do you leaving work or a supermarket ect. I don't really care open carry vs concealed either will serve the purpose. Living in michigan there is never one hour of the day when my loaded keltec is not either on my person or within arms reach. More americans should be armed 24/7.

  • God Bless America

  • 2 dislikes eh? I guess thats 2 people who would've been raped.

  • "She is not willing to speak about it - understandable after what happened"

Well, it may end up even more understandable after what still may be going to happen to her. I mean possible criminal lawsuit, and possible civil lawsuit. Our society is capable of giving her hard time: biased against armed civilians by mass media - which is being paid by political forces willing to gradually enslave all of us.

  • HAHAHAHA. " To put him down with a .22 she must be a good shot"

  • My guess is that either she is not going to touch a gun for a long time, which is an understandable, if unfortunate, effect of killing the scumbag, or she is going to invest in a higher caliber pistol.

  • Seriously? They took a pic of her? I guess in order to have some respect from the media you need to actually get raped.

  • I guess no one's going to laugh at me now for having a revolver in my shower.

  • @SunSunSuperFun Nope, the're still laughing. But it's not about your gun. ( J/K) :)

  • 2 people got beat with a shower rod

  • @NoMAIG Yep....I live in Commie-fornia.

  • It's too bad this lady will have to pay the cleanup bill. The family of the criminal should be liable, she wouldn't have had to shoot him if they would have done a decent job raising him.

  • this is why i keep a .22 next to my bed in the case i cant get to my gun cabinet

  • @GunzzProductions kommando

  • @Cornholio1776 nec/k/beard

  • it's CRIMINAL that every one of such incidents fail to be covered on network newscasts when they give it full coverage when a criminal uses a gun to hurt innocent people

  • These news reporters are ghouls.

  • Make that 2 rapists that don't like armed citizens exercising their rightful Constitutional freedoms.

  • Keep it up armedcitizen. Another awesome video.

  • one less threat on the street, good

  • well done

  • In my state i would be arrested for murder by defending myself with a gun.

  • One less low life in the world oh well no one will miss him.......

  • Notice woman in car said "if I had a gun"

I know who I'm gonna rape.

  • I wonder how many times she shot him with the .22 to ensure a speedy kill.

  • @SteppenWolfMindGame All it takes is one well placed one... or a hail of not-so-well placed ones. People underestimate a 30gr piece of lead flying a third a mile a second. Remember, Steve Irwin died of a well placed stingray...

  • Good shooting, one less scumbag

  • I feel sorry for the dead crook. Because of this woman, he won't be able to rob the 7-11 two streets down tomorrow night. Because of her, a coroner has to work an extra few overtime hours today. Because of her, Joe Citizen won't get his car stolen next week. Because of her, a gun hating liberal lawyer will have to find someone else to defend in court. She denyed him a long life of stealing, raping, and making other people miserable. Because of her, he's now dead and rotting in Hell. HELL YEAH !

  • More guns less crime!

  • I imagine right after she shot him in the face, she probably thought: Pow! Right in the kisser! ( I hate using up my best Family Guy lines, but I couldn't resist.)

  • sounds like the Dr. just gave this guy a lesson in asskickanomitry

  • I've killed lots of Big things with the lowly .22LR and .17 pellet. A round through the eye and straight into the brain will drop a man as fast as a 30 cal to the chest. It sounds like she got some close center mass hits on a thin man. Good shooting, cool headed woman. May God's peace be on you.

  • right on.

  • One rapist clicked dislike.

  • @jepp114 lol!

  • Very nice! :)

  • Good on ya old girl. One less Scumbag.

  • PHD = Pistol handeling Dr.lol

  • as Col Jeff Cooper once said.... "you are only outgunned if you miss"

  • as Col Jeff Cooper once said.... you are only outgunned if you miss"

  • Someone in their twenties trying to sexually assault someone in their fifties . ... pathetic

  • @BurntPineapple So who should he sexually assault then? Just trying to get you to think about what you said. LOL No Fence!

  • @BurntPineapple I mean he is too afraid to assault someone more to his own age. Someone that is stronger, more agile and more able to defend herself in my opinion.

  • dayummm beast mode!!

  • Always happy to hear when someone refuses to become a victim!! I want to take this lady out to dinner lol

  • I hope she will be okay. I'm glad that POS won't be around to do this again.

  • I'd like more details on the amount of rounds fired. I think the little .22 LR is often given a bad rap simply because of it's small size.

  • @smttysmth02gt Totally! .22LR is a good round. People think because it's small, it's not going to do damage. But the velocity is brutal and all you have to do is hit a major organ. Drop a lung, put a few in in the center of mass, the heart, hit an artery and the person is a goner. Not to mention the splintering if it hits bone or something. It's like shrapnel.

  • The trick with a .22 is to shoot for the head until the intruder is dead or you run out of ammo.

  • Having one less violent criminal in the world is never a bad thing.

  • Great job, she just saved the city/country quite a bit of money and ridded the earth of another parasite.

Years ago I saw a guy get shot with a cheap little ole .22 revolver, have never seen so much blood from a gunshot wound-and he did die.

  • 2 to the heart 1 to the mind...

just a nice wake up call to thise who want to attack the weak, she shot the coward..and more of this to come

  • What does being a teacher and having a PhD have to do with her success in overcoming this criminal?

  • "Oh yes, oh yes, if somebody broke into my house if I had a gun I'd probably do the same thing."

Let me sum this up..... I don't have a gun and in a stressful situation I wouldn't be able to shoot him

  • @xmanhockey7 Then why don't you buy yourself a gun and get a little bit of training, just might save your life or the life of one of your family members! You owe it to them and yourself....

  • @BikeMeAustin I don't think you understand exactly what I was saying there.

  • @xmanhockey7 You're right, after re-reading it I misunderstood you-sorry about that. I get it now.

  • She's my hero! Too bad she would probably become a convicted felon if the incident took place in Illinois.

  • Fantastic!

  • So an assailant / would be rapist, gets himself shot to death by his intended victim. This is what we refer to as an "occupational hazard" !

  • @bodyarmored LMAO!!!!!

  • Quick thinking, brave woman.

  • the Brady Campaign would rather see this woman raped

  • Holy crap that Mike Groober guy at 1:11 sounds so much like Hank Hill from king of the hill

  • Tough lady! Criminals are so stupid bringing a knife to a gun fight!

  • Good Job!

  • One less scumbag roaming the streets.

  • @milojthath your what's wrong with American if you come in my house and mean me harm or even my neighbors harm you better be able to kill me before I kill you it's your right as an America. and I'm Rastafarian so I'm not for war or violence but I called the cops about my house being broken into and after an houre of waiting someone showed up. you can't trust that the cops will be there.

  • What do anti rights nuts have to say ? Good for her !!

  • "Shame on the NRA and gun rights advocates for seeking to protect this woman's right to defend herself!"

uhhhh... why is that in the description?

  • @crazzyxjoex Blatent sarcasm.

  • @TheArmedCitizen Lol, I saw that also and lol'd.

  • @TheArmedCitizen Possibly even blatant sarcasm.

  • @TheArmedCitizen God I hoped so! Protect our rights! They take the 2nd...whats next?!

  • Awesome that she defended her right's of self ownership through physical denial of aggression. Not bad for a .22 either.

  • Good guy 1 bad guy dead. VERY! GOOD!

  • Who cares about the rapist? I'm sorry but when you invade someone's home, arm yourself with a deadly weapon, and then try to force unwanted sex out of them with possibly robbery you have given up your human rights. If you get shot that's your own fault. If you want to feel bad for the knife-wielding, home-invading rapist go right ahead, but he's not getting one tear out of me.

  • Kudos to this lady! If the anti-gun nuts had their way this woman would be raped and dead. A gun is the only legitimate way for women and elderly people to defend themselves from criminals.

  • She used her PHD.... Perp hater Degree

  • Comment removed

  • @daddyoca69 Perp Hault or Die

  • @milojthatch WTF! You have zero clue on what you are talking about. If you shoot to wound you could go to jail. Even cops are trained to shoot to kill.. If you pull a gun and have to use it then your life better be in danger and its not if you just nick the guy...

    Idiot..

  • @milojthatch the police? lol

  • @milojthatch Yeah, and he goes free after no time at all and will do it over and over. You've heard of things like "early release" and "time served"? It just means they're off and looking for their next victim. No, thanks. BTW, I'm a proud "liberal". You won't find too many of us who would weep over criminals being removed like this. No matter WHAT you're told by the barking mad Becks and Limbaughs.

  • @milojthatch Educate yourself a little bit and google "Justices Rule Police Do Not Have a Constitutional Duty to Protect Someone "

  • @milojthatch She wasn't protecting society you dolt, she was protecting herself. This whole idea that we are beholden to this mythical concept of "Society" is how you become a victim, and a slave.

I say praise her for standing up for herself, and defying any assault to her personal right's.

  • @milojthatch

When your own life is in danger, would you leave it to anyone else? Would you be willing to let someone rape, and/or murder you or your family for the sake of letting the police do their job?

Had she not taken up her firearm and killed him, he would have raped and probably murdered her. And then he'd still be on the streets.

  • @milojthatch

'why didn't wound the guy rather then killing him'

Ever heard the story about the burglar that fell through a skylight onto a knife and sued the homeowner?

Now, that particular story is false, but the all-too-common story of someone getting sued for shooting and not killing their assailant is not.

  • @milojthatch First of all, no god, so no judgement day. Unless you're talking about the machines, and they don't care. Second, protecting your own ass is not protecting society, the same way that feeding yourself isn't considered "feeding the hungry." Most people who own guns have at least some training in their use, as they should, the same way most drivers aren't race car drivers, but are still responsible for their car, and they are still accountable for their actions. You're probably a troll

  • @milojthatch The target is a threat until he or she is neutralized. Shoot to kill. Double-taps are highly effective. The rapist should have thought about the consequences to his actions before he decided to prey on another human being. That, and he won't ever get the chance to rape again. :)

  • @milojthatch Defending your life is not "taking the law into your own hands" (sic)...it is defending your life(!!), and yes it is perfectly OK!! That you would even ask such an inane question, the answer to which is intuitively obvious to even the most casual observer, shows the world that you are of exceptionally low intelligence, and are a waste of the airspace you currently pollute because you obviously do not appreciate your precious gift of life enough to be willing to defend it.

  • @milojthatch If someone breaks into your home while you are there, go ahead and call the police. They can come take pictures of your body when they show up in 20 minutes. This woman protected herself and you think you have the right to say she shouldn't. So you believe that she should be dead instead of someone who broke into her home to do her harm. Post a sign outside your home that says you have no firearms in the home.

  • Clear cut case of self defense.

No jury in the World will convict this woman. Justice has been served.

  • .22 is a very underestimated round.

  • wait... i always heard that .22lr is EXTREMELY lethal at point blank/close ranges because of its ricochet effect. is that just a myth?

and i like how the neighbor lady said "if i had a gun i would do the same thing." perhaps she should learn from her neighbor and BUY ONE!

  • Very nice! Smart Lady! Great shot and Nerves!

I will be taking my firearms training next week!

  • if people would start putting more dumb bastards like that down the world will be a better place.way to go lady theyl have to deal with a lil more than a 22 up in my house

  • @xdshooter01 We had 6 home invaders killed by homeowners in 4 months here in san antonio back in 2010 and home invasions and burglaries dropped to almost nothing.

  • I'm surprised the media even mentioned this event, they usually just focus on negative stories in regards to guns. I thank God out loud that she is safe.

  • thank god for the constitution.

  • Kitchen knife...free....booty call...free...the $1.50 in change distributed through a would be rapists body ... priceless

  • @Pfletch83 if it was 22 lr it was probably more like.. 20 cents LOL

  • Yup. Yet one more example that even a small caliber handgun can WORK in such a situation. I'm sure that in the VAST majority of cases (that are somewhat like this one) when the victim starts shooting, the ONLY thing in the mind of the perp is to try to get away. And so small-caliber can work JUST AS WELL as large caliber.

Still, I would continue to remind EVERYONE that the FIRST defense in this kind of situation should be STRONGER DOORS that can't be kicked in or easily picked.

  • Outstanding example of someone exercising their 2nd Amendment rights. I wonder what Democrats would say about this...

  • @BlightedBaz Hell i know people that are so dense they say rape is not a crime punishable by death. Stories like this i love not that she got attacked but she refused to be a victim.

  • If he lived he would only have gone to jail where he will have learned advanced techniques on how to victimize people.

  • @furyofbongos No kidding there man. Our jail/justice system is nothing but fail. I don't know how to fix it, but to keep on doing what we know doesn't work is stupid.

  • Really sorry this happened to her, but BOY IS SHE SMART AND COURAGEOUS!
