The thing is going to CONSTANTLY have smudges, so wasting and purchasing these stupid wipes is an environmental and financial waste. I use a large microfibre cloth for both my laptop and transformer (and even glasses!) and it removes every single smudge like a champion. The thing looks new every time. You can buy a pack of them for a few bucks.
@electroinnovation eventually Asus is releasing a USB adaptor for the proprietary port so you won't need the dock for that feature, and as far as the keyboard goes, you could probably get a bluetooth one for cheaper
@electroinnovation if you type long emails and plan on working on Word docs through Polaris Office, like I do, then yes, it's a great investment. I also hook up gamepads and external hard drives to the usb ports on the dock, so it's handy. And on top of that, there's 6 more hour of battery life. So I do recommend it. $548 bucks for an Android netbook is pretty decent!
Alex thanks for the advice. It was very useful. I read some reviews about the protector that it didnt fit/align perfectly with the camera/screen. In addition, some people had to cut their's down to size. Is that your experience too?
@ipoddropshipcom mine alligned just fine and I didn't have to cut it, it's a 10.1 inch protector, same same as the screen. Just make sure you spray the solution all over the screen protector and on your hands as well so there's no fingerprints or dust particles. It will take longer to dry, probably 2 days. I used a blow dryer to quicken the process, but it didn't make much of a difference, I would still wait 1-2 days and then it will look great.
@ipoddropshipcom I have a screen protector on mine and I like it better now. It's not the easiest thing to install. I bought the Skinomi one on Amazon. Make sure you follow the instructions and wait 12 to 24 hrs for it to dry. After that, it looks pristine, it protectes the screen, it's easier to clean it and I even find easier to swipe and glide your fingers. So I highly recommend getting one, it's not expensive, I think it was 17 bucks.
Just a note: try spraying the solution onto the cloth first, you know, in case you take too much! Great video! :)

How ironic, a vid about cleaning my transformer cannot be played on my transformer.

Do you think it needs a screen protector? Or do you feel the gorilla glass is enough on its own ?
