I once was kept in class because I sang this song.My head teacher hated singing.

One day he told us to put away our books and while I was busy doing that I sang this song,real quitely.This was 1981 I believe. I was overheard.

He told the class;since *****(my last name)loves to sing that much,you can all stay 5 minutes extra.......

He has long since passed away but I still sing this song,

As loud as I can.

I was trying to sing along with them following the lyrics you put in, gimmeabba15. My experience is - the lyrics appear too late on the screen. They should appear BEFORE they actually start singing, not after. Otherwise they do not fully serve their purpose (if one wants the share by singing). But I do appreciate the video, thank you

Ohh!!! Just beautiful: This was the only song that got stuck in to my head and heart when I wathced ABBA's film in the cinema and heard it for the 1st time in the late 70's, but I don't know why it's not very popular. It is their best by far, THANK YOU.

Abba was the first band I listened to as a child, no matter how many times I listen to this song, I feel it moves my deepest feelings. The simplicity and beauty of these lyrics allowed me to understand them at such an early age, and to learn English through them as well.
