I don't have the time to read all the comments so i will say this....You don't have to FEEL the Spirit of God to praise and worship Him. If you have to FEEL Him just to dance, speak well of, or acknowledge Him then you have a conditional relationship with God. All I have to do is just think about Him and His Goodness and that gets me to exalting Him Just because He is who He is. You might FEEL sad but If you just THINK on HIM just watch the sadness go away.
There is nothing wrong with dancing in the spirit or to give God praise. Whatever you do make sure it is about you and God. Not putting on or to entertain others. We get enough of that on TV. All I can say is let us be carefull that our "fun" doesn't cause someone to have a change of heart about the perception of God's people. We have gotten so caught up in each other at church we need to be seeking the souls of the lost not entertaining eachother.

Praise should be automatic for the saints. I don't wait for something to come over me...I move God with my Praise.... I felt that..hold one sec.. I feel a dance!!!

I think you are a bit misguided by spiritual brother. Our God is a God of balance and joy. We need the world to see that we as Christians aren't uptight and judgemental as we are OFTEN portrayed! @Iamanoutkast: I'm not misguided at all. I have no problem with the saints dancing for joy. However, as a SISTAH who will praise dance in a heartbeat, I was offended when the husband of the sistah in the blue suit threw money at her feet. At that point, the wife knew he had crossed the line and, momentarily, reverted to his old nature. Therefore, she stopped dancing, gave him a loving hug, laugh, and led him off platform. The world should never see holy men treating holy women as strippers.
Lastly, as one who pastored for a number of years, I really do see the bigger picture. The big picture is that God wants us image Him in the world without succumbing to the world's values and practices. Our task is to show the world the way to Him by living in wholesomeness and victory.
God is not Man, God is spirit. God operates in us through our spirit. The spirit of God is constant for it is in him that we live, move and have our being. As believers at all times we all should live in the spirit, dance in the spirit, and do all things in the spirit. (Of course I'm speaking of the spirit of God).... God bless
They're making a mockery of Praise unto God, it that's truly glorifying God, and not glorifying man. To throw money at someone who is literally dancing on a dance floor is downright ridiculous. We better hone into God's Word and not into what is deemed acceptable by these ministers! For the Lord said that you shall have your reward on earth and not in heaven if you're doing your alms before men to be seen.
WOW that's all I can say now dancing is kool but that was totally out of order. I know we have liberty and I know different people have different expression on how to glorfy God but in all things we need to do things decent and in order and that wasnt now I'm not saying they are going to hell but like we spoke in toungues as the Spirit gave utterance so should our shout be the same cause when those who arent saved what should we show them? @Jerome9055 I was at this service and this was the culmination of a week long conference. All the people you saw dancing on that stage were called up purposely because God did the miracles in their lives that week. I would never past judgment on what I don't understand fully. We should always have a dance. Well that's' what David told Micah when she said he should be ashamed. As far as the money...Bishop Cherry had a monetary breakthrough and that was his wife dancing.

There are other more appropriate ways to have fun in God's house. It's time we clean up God's house and it be restored to what God meant it to be. All this playing, it's time out for it. I think you are a bit misguided by spiritual brother. Our God is a God of balance and joy. We need the world to see that we as Christians aren't uptight and judgemental as we are OFTEN portrayed! It's really as shame sometimes the perception that unbelievers have of us. Bishop Bloomer and his church are having fun in the Lord. However, as a SISTAH who will praise dance in a heartbeat, I was offended when the husband of the sistah in the blue suit threw money at her feet. At that point, the wife knew he had crossed the line and, momentarily, reverted to his old nature. Therefore, she stopped dancing, gave him a loving hug, laugh, and led him off platform. The world should never see holy men treating holy women as strippers.

They're making a mockery of Praise unto God, it that's truly glorifying God, and not glorifying man. To throw money at someone who is literally dancing on a dance floor is downright ridiculous. We better hone into God's Word and not into what is deemed acceptable by these ministers! For the Lord said that you shall have your reward on earth and not in heaven if you're doing your alms before men to be seen.

WOW that's all I can say now dancing is kool but that was totally out of order. I know we have liberty and I know different people have different expression on how to glorfy God but in all things we need to do things decent and in order and that wasnt now I'm not saying they are going to hell but like we spoke in toungues as the Spirit gave utterance so should our shout be the same cause when those who arent saved what should we show them? All the people you saw dancing on that stage were called up purposely because God did the miracles in their lives that week. I would never past judgment on what I don't understand fully. We should always have a dance. Well that's' what David told Micah when she said he should be ashamed. As far as the money...Bishop Cherry had a monetary breakthrough and that was his wife dancing.

There are other more appropriate ways to have fun in God's house. It's time we clean up God's house and it be restored to what God meant it to be. All this playing, it's time out for it. We have played long enough and given the enemy too much territory in God's house and our lives.

My words were'nt given in anger but great disappointmt & hurt. no, I don't think that some1 that's come N2 a service heavy might have wanted 2 watch a performance. Many already think of services as showtunes. I've bn 2 a church or 2 that performed and I left until the word was given. I was heavy and wasn't in a mood for "play"..I came expectn a breakthrough and bcuz God is God He pushed past all the junk some ppl were offering Him & still did blessd. Me angry?
