Final Fantasy X-2 Opener - Japanese Version

This game couldn't have started off any worse. 0/10. No Nobuo Uematsu music, Yuna's not the same, To much sex not enough serious. They turned a good game like FFX into a pile of hentai-like pop-star game.

lol otakus always say "JAPANESE VOICES FTW" - i do think the japanese voice acting sounds a lot better at a whole other level, but the english ones has its moments. they just needed a better voice director. at the same time, most of the animations in cutscenesare lazy & bland. but when they have fully animated emotional faces with mo-capped scenes, they're really good cuz they show more emotions. check the cutscene where YRP goes into the "den of woe" - i thought that was well done.

and another side note for this opening movie, Yuna doesn't look as better here in this japanese version of real emotion. I think the creators realized that and hence, updated her looks on the english version of this FMV. She had more emotions and her eyes moved. That's both to Yuna before she transforms and after she transforms to the songstress dressphere.

I agree dude. My only complaint is that compared to original script. America has to create new dialogue so lines would fit the character's mouth. They can never stick to original script since the games were never really meant for english.

i never heard the original script sadly though i have seen some clips. and thats true - its harder to adapt to what its originally made for. i'm about to play the "international + last mission" version of the game (has a sick widescreen version of this intro too, showing more space on the left and right). as u know, the international part is fully in english. i also just realized they added new facial animations to a few cutscenes. maybe more emotions or lypsync tweaks - i have to find out.

The Japanese versions are always better, and that's coming from an English girl, lol! I totally prefer the Japanese voice actors to the English/American ones.

well dude you can't blame it, Final Fantasy X was the first final fantasy to do voice acting. So it was a gamble, some people think its cool, most people think its horrible and i am one of those people that think its horrible. They tried at least, but X-2 was not needed at all. I am only going to agree that X-2 was the biggest laughing stock. FFX was just a sequel following up to the other final fantasys.

apparently, it is like two versions in one game - i can't write it all down, so i'll summarise it 4 ya - it will "possibly" hopefully not, be the last ff game that square enix will release :'( he wants to concentrate on kingdom hearts. it is for ps3 and i think it is coming out next spring the earliest because it has been delayed (by the way, this date is earlier for japan) finally, do you know about lightning and Mr 13 inch (that is his shoe size)and the versus king? reply back to me
