Donatella did that also for SS08, translating a design into a different color. She then gets a model from earlier in her sequence to change into the dress for the final 'parade'. She also uses some other models to fill the dresses left by some girls who have multiple passes through the show, if you look closely at the girls at the end in the print dresses.
