i just purchased 1 of these nano key's for use with fl studio, but it seems very slow in responding, when i push a key it plays a split second later??

is it because my laptops not fast/good enough???

Try using a faster computer, or use another software for generating the sounds.

That'll be down to the soundcard latency, try going into audio settings and lower the buffer ammount as low as it will go without glitching. If you not already, try using asio4all if your soundcard doesn't have its own asio drivers. FLStudio installs asio4all though so you probably are. Just ordered a nanokey myself to use with my laptop.

@djshocka207 in FL press f10 on your keyboard, click audio and turn that slider as low as possible (not all the way, it'll make the computer freeze up more often)

there are so many so check out the feat of each program. REASON is nice like replier said but it has a pretty steep learning curve if u never made music.

FL studio is nice with VSTs and samples trust me lol.

alot of people like AbletonLIVE but i never tried it but check it out.

you can also use DAWs like Nuendo and Pro tools to make beats with the right VST.

so many choices these days :)
