Nice drumming man, the drums sounded real good despite the little bit of distortion in the sound. Also, has anyone else noticed that the quality of the troll's trolling is getting worse and quite pathetic now? They are starting to suck really bad? *Cough* debovsky123 *Cough*
Hey, the drums sound great and I like your style. Just ignore the other jerks in here. It's getting to be ridiculous when people don't give constructive criticism instead of saying someone sucks. In looking at equipment reviews, are you really going to take a review seriously if all it says is that "This sucks"? I wouldn't. So, same goes here on Youtube. Keep on drumming.
@minotaurjr Thank you for your comment. It is really good not only because it is related to my video. I do agree with you 100%-ly about everything you wrote here.
@minotaurjr I second this. Dude can play. And it's a nice service for him to demo some entry-level bronze cymbals since a lot of aspiring drummers can't yet afford B20s.
i hate it when people are testing the hihat, and they only play it closed and completely open. I never use my hihat that way, i think the mid-open sound is way awesomer!
I know everyones gonna chew my ass for saying this, but just thought I'd give some honest feedback. I think you've got a good foundation set as far as your sticking and control. But alot of it sounds very choppy and forced, I would maybe try practicing a bit more rhythm, and not focus so much on trying to play so fast. You can throw in as 50 hits per second, but if it doesn't tie into the rest of what your playing than it's useless. You might as well be a crack head with a pair of drum sticks..
i just bought some too'' there not to bad for the money'' and its not like going to go play with the Sword and Down' Tonight'' nice style'' Fucker im jelous'' the snare sound great nice pop to it
It's funny for me that i was going to get that hi hat 2 months ago and now i am getting a Meinl Byzance Traditional Heavy hi hat, i just like how the time surprises me.
I mean, i just bought a 18" crash/ride at ebay. The order is coming to me next week, I just want to know if i did a good purchase, tks for answerin me.
Hats sound ok. Ride sounds good until you stop playing it ;) Best sounding lower end cymbals I've heard on youtube so far are the newer Wuhans. Good loose drumming...some interesting riffs there. I like the way you throw the tip of the sticks. That's how it should be done.
debovsky123 your just a bitch ass hater, lets see you post up a fuckin video to show us anything better otherwise shut the fuck up and let this dude drum his own fuckin gig, by the way angrymetallisto your camera sounds great and your a damn good drummer as well you have a badass drum kit and badass cymbals as well fuck all the haters and what they say this video is definitely a plus for me

@AmbitiousMOnkey1100 Not at all :). I don't owe them :). Seriously speaking - everything's fine with them. They serve successfully for one youth churches band.
Hmm Let's see, The cat jammin was very good. However Those cymbals got one nasty ass ring to them. I'll say it for the thousandth time, entry level cymbals from the BIG3 and now I'll include Meinl B-L-O-W. Break out of the heard mentality. Wuhan's New Traditional series is far superior to any of the BIG4 offerings. Wuhan is The only entry level cymbals that are Hand made, Made from B20 bronze , has a beautiful brilliant finish and actually sound like cymbals. For you guys on the fence Wuhan--T
@masterbeat04 Maybe his fingers just aren't clamped down enough, they get that ring if your grip isn't firm enough. But I imagine you probably already know that.
@FOXGEAR92 I am not a fan of contemporary Metallica's art at all. I even think that today's Ulrich sucks as a drummer (he was great though when they were young!). But the snare drum sounds awesome, no matter what my personal preferences are - here I try to be unprejudiced ;)
Hmmm I found this ride for real cheap, about $40, but I don't know if I want to get this or wait til I find a good deal on something along the lines of Zildjian A's or K's, or Sabian HHX's. Hey, just a heads up. The link in the description is no longer valid. The files have been deleted. Might wanna host them at Mediafire or something. :)
meinl mcs worth it, zildjian i dont think so but is just my opinion, i have played some zildjian zbt hihats and a 16 crash and i dont like them, but i have the meinl mcs hats, crash, ride and a free filter china and they r sick mate so think about it ;)
@metallicafan1350 i can recommend these for durability, and they sound decent for the price. i dont like the hats but im broke so im use the hats for now. the ride has a good bell though, but when you can replace the ride and crash.
What do you think about the Meinl MCS compared to, say, Paiste PST5's, Sabian B8's, Zildjian ZXT/ZHT, basically any other entry-level/intermediate level drum cymbals?
i like the pst 5 splash and crashes so paiste is a good option, i dont like sabian, for my taste but they are good i think...zht are great but mcs are awesome!
@wiipwnzps3 paistes are nice, i dont like sabians, zildjians are only good if youre willing to pay for their higher end stuff. id go with the meinls or the paistes.
hey man. VERY nice drumming. from the beginning when you just hit like 1 cymbal i was like "oh god he's gonna suck" but duuude, your a really good drummer. props. but its christmas, and we dont have the most money in the world and i want new cymbals. idk if i want these or not ? cause like where their low brand. would you recommend them ? reply please. thanks
Yes, this is Mapex Q RT 12", 13", FT 16", SD 14", BD 22"x16" drum set. The cheapest line of their sets, but the quality is very good! Just put a decent set of drum heads on it (my friend put Remo's Pinstripe drum heads) and you'll get a great sound!
i bought the mcs pack about 4 years ago, and now i rlly like it, but i bought the 18'crash/ride seperate a few months ago, i didnt like the sound at all, but the others are ok
Hey, buddy! It's OK, nothing stupid. My first "Brandy" cymbal set was PAISTE 302 Plus, 14" h-hats, 16" Crash and 20" Ride. It was OK for me, I loved all cymbals, except with the h-hats I wasn't really happy. If I had this one (MCS pack + 18 Crash ride), I would be really happy! IMHO this is the decent set at moderate price.
do these go well with pst 5s? cuz im gonna get 18'' crash ride mcs, mcs 14 hi hats, 16 med crash mcs, pst 5 med 16 crash, pst5 14 thin crash. is that a good set up for a year and half drummer?
To tell you the truth - I don't know, but I guess they might work good with pst 5s good enough. Honestly - I like both crashes, the hi-hats aren't bad, but quiet as for me. Ride sounds like an average medium ride, made from B8 alloy.
Getting an mcs crash for my birthday, is it worth it?

wiipwnzps3 2 years ago
@wiipwnzps3 PST5s are ok their chinas rock i own the 18" Personally i hate B8s... ZHT over ZXH the ZHT fast crash rocks.

i like the pst 5 splash and crashes so paiste is a good option, i dont like sabian, for my taste but they are good i think...zht are great but mcs are awesome!
fuvk50400 2 years ago
pst 5 have the best crashes sabian has the best ride zildjian has the nicest hats and meinl are all around second place in crash rides and hats...

@wiipwnzps3 paistes are nice, i dont like sabians, zildjians are only good if youre willing to pay for their higher end stuff. id go with the meinls or the paistes.

Thank you very much for this encouraging comment! I will develop my skills further and post more interesting stuff... I hope :).
I'd definitely recommend this set. Cymbals are really good to me for the money.

Is that a Mapex kit you're using?
And if so what kind...
Because I've been thinking about giving mapex a try...
NearSightedGyno 2 years ago
Yes, this is Mapex Q RT 12", 13", FT 16", SD 14", BD 22"x16" drum set. The cheapest line of their sets, but the quality is very good! Just put a decent set of drum heads on it (my friend put Remo's Pinstripe drum heads) and you'll get a great sound!
AngryMetallisto 2 years ago
Yeah they sounded great in the video and I really love how the bass drum sounds...
That might be the next kit I buy...
Thank you!
NearSightedGyno 2 years ago
Hey buddy, I beg a pardon - I messed up with the tom sizes. These are 10", 12", 14"
AngryMetallisto 2 years ago
ok, you've definitely convinced me to start using meinl and stop using zildjian.

i bought the mcs pack about 4 years ago, and now i rlly like it, but i bought the 18'crash/ride seperate a few months ago, i didnt like the sound at all, but the others are ok
nobodysmonkey 2 years ago
u think the 16'' crash and 18'' crash/ride cymbals are good for metal/deathmetal music
MrTrivium0001 2 years ago
would you recommend that 16" crash, im thinking about getting it
BaseballDude776 2 years ago
Yes, as for me, it sounds good for the money
AngryMetallisto 2 years ago
how much are they?
drummingdude788 2 years ago
its my favourite cymbal atm :D
ReeceRAWR 2 years ago
Ok i don't mean to sound stupid, but considering that you own them, would you recommend these symbols?
NathanRyanAllen 2 years ago
AngryMetallisto 2 years ago
theres no such thing as a stupid question.
OrganicTrichome 2 years ago
do these go well with pst 5s? cuz im gonna get 18'' crash ride mcs, mcs 14 hi hats, 16 med crash mcs, pst 5 med 16 crash, pst5 14 thin crash. is that a good set up for a year and half drummer?
LongShotPictures13 2 years ago
To tell you the truth - I don't know, but I guess they might work good with pst 5s good enough. Honestly - I like both crashes, the hi-hats aren't bad, but quiet as for me. Ride sounds like an average medium ride, made from B8 alloy.
AngryMetallisto 2 years ago
is this miked? i hope not because i want these sounds!
