  • Getting an mcs crash for my birthday, is it worth it?

  • Is that Lars Ulrich signature snare?

  • So, how do they sound in person?

  • soy hiper bobissssssssssss y tontes y gay

  • @Sebasthiancords Ir al lenguaje humano, Morón

  • Hey, i have a question. Those MCS cymbals are those good and better than the zildjian ZBT's because i thinking of buying new cymbals .

would love to hear from you.

    ps: nice beats man ;)

    grtz

  • Nice beat at 1:16 do you mind if i steal it ;) nice drumming!

  • @TheGhostInYourCloset You entirely welcome ;). Thanks!

  • so the crash ride is really good as a crash?

  • what the fuck was that.

  • I really like you drum set man! Drummer FTW!

  • your style is awesome!! keep it up man...

  • You look like the drummer from dragonforce.

  • is that a wuhan china you got there?

  • i geuss they sund pretty good. I have the 18" crash ride, and i really like it. I want to get the china. The thing about hcs is the fact that they are so good, which is great for certain styles of music. I like nice and thin. this is why my favorite ine is zildjian a custom, not paiste rude lol. im gonna get these, considering im still a beginner, and i do need a real ride cymbal. The ride also has to much ring for me...this is where dampeners come in handy. Tyvm for this video.

  • Nice drumming man, the drums sounded real good despite the little bit of distortion in the sound. Also, has anyone else noticed that the quality of the troll's trolling is getting worse and quite pathetic now? They are starting to suck really bad? *Cough* debovsky123 *Cough*

  • which is the main difference between the HCS and MCS?

  • @asadodemierda the quality and sound and look :)

  • Hey, the drums sound great and I like your style. Just ignore the other jerks in here. It's getting to be ridiculous when people don't give constructive criticism instead of saying someone sucks. In looking at equipment reviews, are you really going to take a review seriously if all it says is that "This sucks"? I wouldn't. So, same goes here on Youtube. Keep on drumming.

  • @minotaurjr Thank you for your comment. It is really good not only because it is related to my video. I do agree with you 100%-ly about everything you wrote here.

  • @minotaurjr I second this. Dude can play. And it's a nice service for him to demo some entry-level bronze cymbals since a lot of aspiring drummers can't yet afford B20s.

  • Keep up the good work man! Very concentrated with the double bass, nice!

    \m/

  • @ 1:47, How are you double kicking but using the high hat with your foot? (do you have 3 feet?)

  • @Therysinx *facepalm*

  • @Nitram916 LOL jk dude... ik you play them both at the same time... cheers.

  • @Therysinx could be speed, more likely technique, using the heel on the hat and the toes on the kicker (or vice versa). fun to watch though.

  • they seem like they dont wanna ring at all.

  • you make those crappy cymbals sound good

    im sooooooo buying one!

  • great drumming, great style. great set. awsome video

  • not a fan of that floor tom. with that said, nice drumming, you got chops.

  • i hate it when people are testing the hihat, and they only play it closed and completely open. I never use my hihat that way, i think the mid-open sound is way awesomer!

  • I know everyones gonna chew my ass for saying this, but just thought I'd give some honest feedback. I think you've got a good foundation set as far as your sticking and control. But alot of it sounds very choppy and forced, I would maybe try practicing a bit more rhythm, and not focus so much on trying to play so fast. You can throw in as 50 hits per second, but if it doesn't tie into the rest of what your playing than it's useless. You might as well be a crack head with a pair of drum sticks..

  • I don't like how the ride sounds. It looks like a beast set though.

  • Unique way to play!

    Very nice!

  • i just bought some too'' there not to bad for the money'' and its not like going to go play with the Sword and Down' Tonight'' nice style'' Fucker im jelous'' the snare sound great nice pop to it

  • from 2:00 on is soo \m/

    im totally gettin these cymbals

  • Bro this is excellent. Good work and Thanks.

  • very nice sir

  • It's funny for me that i was going to get that hi hat 2 months ago and now i am getting a Meinl Byzance Traditional Heavy hi hat, i just like how the time surprises me.

  • Nice playing buddy

  • sounds like u came from a marching band haha

  • hey i was thinking about buying a nother 16 inch crash should i or go for the 18 in crash ride

  • weird style :S

  • @DrummerBoyz95 Explain what do you mean saying "weird style"

  • @AngryMetallisto just weird playing

  • @AngryMetallisto Meh he is just saying that you play open handed is weird to him haha

  • @DrummerBoyz95 I know what you mean. Very odd.

  • @DrummerBoyz95 and thats awesome every on gotta have their own style !! this was really nice playing!!!

  • These cymbals are durble?

I mean, i just bought a 18" crash/ride at ebay. The order is coming to me next week, I just want to know if i did a good purchase, tks for answerin me.

  • Hats sound ok. Ride sounds good until you stop playing it ;) Best sounding lower end cymbals I've heard on youtube so far are the newer Wuhans. Good loose drumming...some interesting riffs there. I like the way you throw the tip of the sticks. That's how it should be done.

  • debovsky123 your just a bitch ass hater, lets see you post up a fuckin video to show us anything better otherwise shut the fuck up and let this dude drum his own fuckin gig, by the way angrymetallisto your camera sounds great and your a damn good drummer as well you have a badass drum kit and badass cymbals as well fuck all the haters and what they say this video is definitely a plus for me

  • Are they good for rock/punk rock etc.?

  • @debovsky123 I am sorry I cannot understand what do you mean

  • @AngryMetallisto Dont worry about him hes jst jealous hes not a badass.

  • @debovsky123 gtfo you fucking troll. this guy is SICK! Watch his other videos trust me, he is very talented

  • @debovsky123 you jelly?

  • @debovsky123 It's called practise.

  • @debovsky123 hes playing drums? just cause your a little bitch about it and can't handle it because you don't exceed in anything so you take it out on this guy.. low blow man, low blow

  • @debovsky123 i think he is a very good musician, he has a brilliant style of playing and obviously enjoys playing

  • @debovsky123 you know this kind of comments make me wanna jump through monitor and kick the skit out of you. Why the fuck are you bodering him? He was just helping others with their choice of cymbals as he had helped m.... motherfucker

  • @debovsky123 Lemme see you Play the >:O

  • @debovsky123 hahaha?

  • @debovsky123 well then what the fuck are you supposed to play on the drums? fur elise? dumbass

  • @debovsky123 and any other faggots who wanna dis this guy can screw off. Its a fucking cymbal demonstration.

  • @debovsky123 you obviously dont get the point of this video , he is supposed to show off you idiot , get a life , stop sucking your moms dick , come back when you are capable of playing drums , stupid prick,

  • hhmmm not sure about the ride

  • people don't realize how much cymbals are a personal preference....and a lot of time those saying that they break easily, aren't playing them properly. Also sounds of a cymbal on a video can be altered by microphones, speakers and whatnot....so you really can never tell from the internet ;)

  • Well, you dont just do a "soundcheck"

You also know how to play the drums :)

  • @Wiinvideo yea, kinda :D. TNX!

  • Can you make a video of just the 16'' meinl with you playing with it on the drum set and send it to me please?

  • @isawasqurielonce I am sorry, I cannot. I don't have this cymbal set - it wasn't mine.

  • what hi hats are those to your right

  • which one is the 16 incher?

  • i feel sad for people who own these cymbals..

  • @phillipiscool123

    me too lol

  • the cymbals are too ringy

  • I have that hi hat :D:D

  • is the crash thick or thin?

  • i like ur sound of the basedrum

sounds like the base of the drummer of dope

  • wow ur really good^^

  • u didnt get the free 14 china?

  • Dude, awesome video. I can't believe you haven't gotten more compliments! Very talented!

  • @BrotherInArms77 This is a 20" MCS Ride, it's stated in the subject though :)

  • @AngryMetallisto its been over a year, have the cymbals cracked???

  • @AmbitiousMOnkey1100 Not at all :). I don't owe them :). Seriously speaking - everything's fine with them. They serve successfully for one youth churches band.

  • dude. you have to respect the hi hats and ride.. but the crashes are kinda bad sounding.

  • these cymbals are really good for the price...i enjoy them

  • do you think these cymbals are good enough for recording with?? i need to get some but cant afford too expensive stuff.

  • im not gonna judge you, cause ur drumming is very nice, but lose the gloves, thats just not cool

  • the crappy audio makes the MCS hihat sound BEASTLY!

  • Hmm Let's see, The cat jammin was very good. However Those cymbals got one nasty ass ring to them. I'll say it for the thousandth time, entry level cymbals from the BIG3 and now I'll include Meinl B-L-O-W. Break out of the heard mentality. Wuhan's New Traditional series is far superior to any of the BIG4 offerings. Wuhan is The only entry level cymbals that are Hand made, Made from B20 bronze , has a beautiful brilliant finish and actually sound like cymbals. For you guys on the fence Wuhan--T

  • the cymbals sound good in your video, but in reality....

  • The only reason those hats or ride have any ping at all is because he's using nylon tip sticks. Cant fool me! Wood tip sticks tell all my friends.

  • why do they still have the nasty ring even when you choke them?

  • @masterbeat04 Maybe his fingers just aren't clamped down enough, they get that ring if your grip isn't firm enough. But I imagine you probably already know that.

  • your floor tom is buggin man, it vibrates the snare wires like hell. i like the double bass pattern at 0:34

  • some of the best sounding snares ive heard were from the black panter deep forest seris

  • great solo, on what camera it was recorded?

  • awesome video :)

Nice sound from your drums :)

  • lars ulrich snare sucks, for 600€ id buy a better one

  • @lospironwarren You don't have any clue what are you talking about. This snare sounds great. Did you happen to play on it ever?

  • @AngryMetallisto for the money i wouldnt buy it either. ide buy one that didnt sound like that, sorry but you got ripped off

  • @AngryMetallisto You have to consider personal preference as well, Metallisto. Though, he might just be trying to insult Metallica.

  • @FOXGEAR92 I am not a fan of contemporary Metallica's art at all. I even think that today's Ulrich sucks as a drummer (he was great though when they were young!). But the snare drum sounds awesome, no matter what my personal preferences are - here I try to be unprejudiced ;)

  • @AngryMetallisto

Don't listen to him, that snare sounds great and well tuned.

  • @AngryMetallisto hey do you know if the Meinl HCS China 12" sounds good? :P

  • @Nitram916 Meinl HCS China is amazing as a china, splash, and an x-hat like riding on it softly. Buy it buy it buy it!!!

  • @lospironwarren id just buy a cheap snare from guitarcenter, ive been playing for 5 years now and all snares sound the same to me

  • @lospironwarren a snare is only as good as the drummer playing it ;)

  • the ride sounds awesome ! and your drum playing too ;)

  • @GerMaggot555 Danke, mein Freund!

  • what is that ting you start playing on 0:53 ? thats sounds awesome

  • @Obigrobi666 Thanx! That's just one of my patterns, which came out occasionally, when I practiced. I like it too :).

  • Hmmm I found this ride for real cheap, about $40, but I don't know if I want to get this or wait til I find a good deal on something along the lines of Zildjian A's or K's, or Sabian HHX's. I mean yeah, it's a given that those are of higher quality, but I dunno, I like the sound of this one and want to add a Meinl to my set anyways and would like a ride just a bit larger than my 18".

  • i have these cymbals and they're the best cymbals you get for beginnner cymbals.

they beat zildjian zbts and sabian b8's hands down

  • @Ch1ckenKatsu the thing that sucks, is that there are only these cymbals in a pack.

zbts just suck, worst begginner cymbals ever.

  • @Ch1ckenKatsu absolutely

  • @Ch1ckenKatsu I bought the ZBTs my first year of playing, they lasted me 6 months till they broke, got these and have haded for 3 years and still in good condition since im a hard hitter dude.

  • nice foot work man

  • im buying my first cymbals what you think are better these or sabian b8?

and these cymbals are difficult to crack right?

  • im a beginner, and i love these cymbals! i think they sound more proffesianal than zbts :)

  • Zildjian's cheap cymbals really sucks ass! The planet Z's, The Pitch Black's, zbt's etc. I dunno why they make so much crap that sound crap while Meinl's MCS & Sabian's B8's are better, considering it's cheap and for beginners, and on the same level as Zildjian's thick ass crappy cheap cymbals.

  • i like planet Z 20'' ride not the best but it got a cool sound

  • Well, yeah...but the Planet Z crash?... OMG...

  • yeah, i know i played a planet z crash and i didn't like it, crapy sound

  • Wow these don't sound that bad for cheap cymbals. I kinda like the sound the hi-hats make when they're fully clamped but not so much when you sizzle them. That ride sounds amazing for the price though!

  • Hey, just a heads up. The link in the description is no longer valid. The files have been deleted. Might wanna host them at Mediafire or something. :)

  • Meinl MCS are good cymbals for the price... An I agree are better than zildijians ZBT... I fool I sold my MCS ride and a a crash ride...

  • great druming are the meinl mcs cymbals good andare they better than zildjian zbt cymbals

  • yea zbts sucks mcs are better than them

  • for cheap cymbals they sound great

  • thinking of getting either these or zildjian zbt's what would you guys reccomend?

  • meinl mcs worth it, zildjian i dont think so but is just my opinion, i have played some zildjian zbt hihats and a 16 crash and i dont like them, but i have the meinl mcs hats, crash, ride and a free filter china and they r sick mate so think about it ;)

  • these ones. the zbt's are way way way too thin, youll have them dented in weeks.

  • @metallicafan1350 Get the Meinls. ZBTs are terrible.

  • @metallicafan1350 i can recommend these for durability, and they sound decent for the price. i dont like the hats but im broke so im use the hats for now. the ride has a good bell though, but when you can replace the ride and crash.

  • the hi hat sounds like a block of wood ? ... on the left i hate hcs cause there realy dull ... well the splashes are .....

  • I WANT YOUR KIT!!! Nice skills too!

  • That high hat on the right sounds amazing... and clean ride dude

  • the ride is the meinl mcs 1 - I have it - and its gr8

  • Sounds sick.

  • What do you think about the Meinl MCS compared to, say, Paiste PST5's, Sabian B8's, Zildjian ZXT/ZHT, basically any other entry-level/intermediate level drum cymbals?

  • @wiipwnzps3 PST5s are ok their chinas rock i own the 18" Personally i hate B8s... ZHT over ZXH the ZHT fast crash rocks.

  • i like the pst 5 splash and crashes so paiste is a good option, i dont like sabian, for my taste but they are good i think...zht are great but mcs are awesome!

  • pst 5 have the best crashes sabian has the best ride zildjian has the nicest hats and meinl are all around second place in crash rides and hats...

  • @wiipwnzps3 paistes are nice, i dont like sabians, zildjians are only good if youre willing to pay for their higher end stuff. id go with the meinls or the paistes.

  • hey i cant see this vid is it youtube or my pc

  • Most likely - your PC. You've got to have Adobe Flash Player installed on your PC.

  • hey man. VERY nice drumming. from the beginning when you just hit like 1 cymbal i was like "oh god he's gonna suck" but duuude, your a really good drummer. props. but its christmas, and we dont have the most money in the world and i want new cymbals. idk if i want these or not ? cause like where their low brand. would you recommend them ? reply please. thanks

  • Thank you very much for this encouraging comment! I will develop my skills further and post more interesting stuff... I hope :).

I'd definitely recommend this set. Cymbals are really good to me for the money.

  • Is that a Mapex kit you're using?

    And if so what kind...

Because I've been thinking about giving mapex a try...

  • Yes, this is Mapex Q RT 12", 13", FT 16", SD 14", BD 22"x16" drum set. The cheapest line of their sets, but the quality is very good! Just put a decent set of drum heads on it (my friend put Remo's Pinstripe drum heads) and you'll get a great sound!

  • Yeah they sounded great in the video and I really love how the bass drum sounds...

That might be the next kit I buy...

    Thank you!

  • Hey buddy, I beg a pardon - I messed up with the tom sizes. These are 10", 12", 14"

  • ok, you've definitely convinced me to start using meinl and stop using zildjian.

  • is that a wuhan china?!

    idk if it is

i cant tell from the quality

but im getting a wuhan soon!

    hopefully its awesome

  • i think is a paragon

  • its a wuhan, says it in the description

  • Wuhan's definitely awesome!

  • i bought the mcs pack about 4 years ago, and now i rlly like it, but i bought the 18'crash/ride seperate a few months ago, i didnt like the sound at all, but the others are ok

  • u think the 16'' crash and 18'' crash/ride cymbals are good for metal/deathmetal music

  • would you recommend that 16" crash, im thinking about getting it

  • Yes, as for me, it sounds good for the money

  • how much are they?

  • its my favourite cymbal atm :D

  • Ok i don't mean to sound stupid, but considering that you own them, would you recommend these symbols?

  • Hey, buddy! It's OK, nothing stupid. My first "Brandy" cymbal set was PAISTE 302 Plus, 14" h-hats, 16" Crash and 20" Ride. It was OK for me, I loved all cymbals, except with the h-hats I wasn't really happy. If I had this one (MCS pack + 18 Crash ride), I would be really happy! IMHO this is the decent set at moderate price.

  • theres no such thing as a stupid question.

  • do these go well with pst 5s? cuz im gonna get 18'' crash ride mcs, mcs 14 hi hats, 16 med crash mcs, pst 5 med 16 crash, pst5 14 thin crash. is that a good set up for a year and half drummer?

  • To tell you the truth - I don't know, but I guess they might work good with pst 5s good enough. Honestly - I like both crashes, the hi-hats aren't bad, but quiet as for me. Ride sounds like an average medium ride, made from B8 alloy.

  • is this miked? i hope not because i want these sounds!
