  • Parabéns, é assim que uma campeã começa!

  • Great Video! she did very well and im talking about both the girl and the horse...let people say what they want...but good job!

  • You all have the right tto say whatever you want. But i am a Mother of 3 little girls. And for the Mother and Father of this little girl they have the wright to say if she should or shouldn't have one on. and yes helmets are a good thing will save your head but what about her neck..

  • Beautiful horse :) Awwwww such a cute little girl

  • perfect horse :)

  • she's going to be amazing when she's older !

  • @Cottontail6969 It definitely was not a "cheapy" helmet. It was a Thornhill, which are very expansive and well known brands of helmets. & riding with helmets are all based on preference, I chose not to. Some people find it crucial. But what this little girls parents decide is not for you to criticize. Unless they are committing a crime (which they aren't in the US). In my opinion, helmets make it hard to see, are uncomfortable, and a waste of money. Injury or no injury, just my preference.

  • @CatoriTakoda1592 Heads were never designed to fall from a height. They smoosh very easily. What happened to your friend sucked, and was probably a manufacturing error (or possibly she'd had it too long + it was damaged?) incidents like that are the minority. As for the parents, they have a responsibility to protect their child. If she falls she is very likely to split her head open. I'd hardly call keeping your brains in your skull a waste of money.

  • @CatoriTakoda1592 right about the helmets making it hard to see and being very uncomfortable and etc.!! besides, people shouldn't tell me what to wear, it's MY head!!!! lol :)

  • Appys are not disgusting... Your just being an ass! Btw cute little girl and horse they both did great!;)

  • does all that girl have to say about Apps are that they have horrible conformation????

or maybe thats the only 'legit' term she knows when comparing horses...

all of us should be nice to her....maybe she had an embarrassing experience on an app and never fully recovered... its okay to be hateful, just remember its ok to be kind :)

  • just adding in on the helmet thing....my really good friend was seriously injured BECAUASE she wore a helmet. docs said if she wouldn't have worn it she wouldn't have gone through what she did. the helmet busted, the plastic cut the side of her face, and the buckles got hung up and twisted and were blocking her airways.

  • @CatoriTakoda1592 Thats why you need a GOOD helmet. Not a cheapy.

  • @CatoriTakoda1592 If the helmet busted, and she is alive today, the helmet is probably what stopped her head from being busted. I'll take cuts on my face and having my air blocked over having my brains splattered any day.

  • PUT A HELMET ON THE POOR LITTLE GIRL IF SHE FELL OF SHE COULD OF GOT SERIOUSLY HURT

  • She's too freaking short for her legs to even kick the horses stomach! How did she get it to move?!!

  • @jessers4ever you a terrible person and I can't wait till you get ground up into dog food

  • That is one long-legged horse.

  • Cute team and that appears to be a very solid horse. She is a good little rider.

  • Good barrel racer. People need to shut there mouth over the whole not wearing a helmet thing. Who cares? It's the parents decision.

  • its not ur kid to say whether to wear a helmet, people!

  • I really hope you never decide to stap that little girl in like alot of barrel racing parents do. it is extremly dangerous if the horse goes down. ther would be no way for her to get off

  • that is ok for a 5 year old

  • @TheCutip- its OK for any age

  • Aww cutee :) my 5 yr old friend would cry if she was on that horse lol

  • aw:)) shes five?

  • that horse would make a good dressage horse

  • That horse is great!

  • uhm... i don't know were you are in this video ... but in Canada you have to be over 18 to not be able to wear a helmet

  • @KaylaHall1998 im sorry but i think thats only if yur riding a bike bc i live in canada and rodeo and i have never once been told to wear a helmet

  • @easyjackcody In Ontario it's MANDATORY for anyone under the age of 18 to wear a helmet when they're ridin'. I'm 40 and I'll never get on my horse without a helmet. To do otherwise is absolutely foolish.

  • @CowboyPenner and thats totally yur opionionbut yu shouldnt go on ppls channel eith little kids just havin fun and start preachin about helmets its her parents choice and wearing a helmet doesnt mean yur safe

  • @easyjackcody You can't argue the fact that you're safer wearin' a helmet than not. It might not completely prevent an injury but it will certainly reduce the severity of it.

  • haha kay bye

  • mmm yeah thats probly why your arguing with me. Ive been riding since i was three, and rodeo in two different associations, I also kick ass at barrels, wanna go sometime?

  • @Jessers4Ever No. I would never 'go' with someone who thinks of horses in such a manner. Plus, I completely abhor rodeos. And I'm tired of talking to you. Go have fun being a bitch horse rider that give us all a bad name.

  • mmkay....do you even barrelrace? or ride?

  • @Jessers4Ever I've been riding since I was 7 and Ive done plenty of gymkhanas and western pleasure shows, 3 of which I won on an appaloosa/arabian mix. So yes, I ride, and I'm probably a hell of a lot more experienced then you.

  • how am i vain? every breeder that does a good job looks at conformation, not saying Im a breeder, but I like to see the looks before the horse. A horse with good conformation can kick ass in barrels just because of they way they are built. Not every horse is magical and special.

  • @Jessers4Ever Of course not, but I would rather be sitting on a complete shaggy mutt of a horse with a heart of gold then a high bred bitch of a horse. Youre making unfair judgements about appaloosas, and the horse I see in this vid has beautiful conformation and color, with a sweet disposition and easy going personality to match, yet your saying you hate it because its 'ugly'. Thinking one type of horse is better than the other is ignorant and dumb.

  • well yes you are right. but there really isnt enough homes for all the horses, thats why the badly bred, ugly ones die.

  • @Jessers4Ever Which is why you should join them. You're obviously a vain dipshit.

  • well yea of course, one of my horses is a mutt, but hes pretty, and it comes to a point where you dont wanna be seen on a crap ass lookin horse.

  • @Jessers4Ever You don't even know how to reply to a fucking comment right. I love appaloosas and they are some of the most beautiful horses ive seen. Now, say I decided you were ugly and just pumped your head full of lead because there was an overpopulation of ugly people. You wouldnt like that, would you? Its not all about looks. Don't be vain, because beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  • Ummm appaloosas are BEAUTIFUL and you are very hateful to want to send ANY horse to slaughter

  • they look terrible, broom tails, terrible toplines, the worst conformation ever. And yea i dont have a problem with it because there is an over population of horses

  • @Jessers4Ever So if there is a over population of people going to send them too slaughter too? And is it all about how look? If thats how you judge then you are surely missin out. My horse is one of the weirdest lookin horses i have seen but she has one me buckles and other stuff in barrels, Its not about the breed or the pedigree or how they look if you look in the littlest places you can find a champion horse! If thats how you want to look at things fine, But your surely missing out..

  • Amazing!

  • haa not barrel racing but ok

  • shell get there. shell get there(:

  • ugly horse

  • @Jessers4Ever You're ugly! XD

  • @HeartFullOfBuckshot and your a fuckin faggot

  • @Jessers4Ever You're a fucking queer who makes smoothies out of your own blue waffle's juice you fucking disgusting fat ass bitch.

  • @HeartFullOfBuckshot nice comeback you dumb fuckin appaloosa

  • @Jessers4Ever ...........wtf .........that's NOT JUST ANY HORSE ITS AN APPY ONE OF the most beautiful breeds

  • @horsesarecoolio101 yea keep tellin yourself that. appaloosas are the result of terrible breeding.

  • @Jessers4Ever

ACTUALLY appaloosas and "Spotted horses" are one of the smartest and most diversely athletic breeds, No "terrible" breeding there. Maybe you should just get your head stuck out of your butt and enjoy the video and actually learn things about horses before you accuse them of being "terrible" and keep your OPINIONS to yourself. Kthxbye

Other than that for a 5 year old she did a wonderful job of barrel Racing. And I Love how gentle the appy is, Reminds me of my old appaloosa :D

  • @Tipprollapenguin appaloosas are fuckin retarded with a terrible conformation and broom tails. I do know my research, i am a horse owner, and a damn good barrel racer/goat tier myself so go ride your appaloosa off a cliff

  • @Jessers4Ever Every breed of horse has their own confirmation, and If you owned an appy you would know that they are smart and have a good confirmation. And sure, with every horse breed your going to get a few that dont match the criteria. You Don't need to do "research" in order to know that If your a horse person. Also...1) stop cussing so much, Its not making you cooler. 2)Grow up, and grow a pair 3) I Didn't get on here to talk with someone childish throwing a temper tantrum. kthxbye

  • @Tipprollapenguin 1) im not cussing that much 2) im a girl, i dont wanna grow a pair 3)im expressing myself as a horseperson, i know what im talking about. And if you love broom tailed, juggheaded, tiny assed horses, than go for it. but im gonna keep hating on them/ sending them to slaughter.

  • @Jessers4Ever Then you're no horseperson. Have a different opinion, but show some respect.

  • @Jessers4Ever Girls grow a pair too. And since you are a girl GROW UP. Women mature faster than men but since you keep having these little temper tantrums I guess you have the short end of that leash. My apps arnt broom tailed, jugg headed or tiny assed. in fact they are quite the opposite. As with nearly ALL apps are. Go back to uploading videos of your goldfish and stop trying to ruin peoples day. and this comment is my last. I don't have time to argue with you.BYE

  • @Tipprollapenguin "She's" a she-man.

  • @HeartFullOfBuckshot Lmao I believe it. :p

  • @Jessers4Ever You know i LOVEE how you just told thiss chick that you will keep hating on them and sending them to slaughter but on your profile you say your Highly against horse slaughter! And I don't see what you see against appaloosas, Its people like you who put crap like one breed is better than the other and in reality the horses are all amazing and give us the pleasure to ride them.

  • @BarrelRacingGirl1997 i guess i better change my profile, wrote that years ago. and appaloosas are disgusting

  • @Jessers4Ever How are they disgusting? They arre beautiful creatures just like every other breed of horse, And so your saying now you dont mind that horses are getting sent to slaughter houses?

  • @Jessers4Ever they r not they are one of the most american breeds ..... bred originaly by the Nez Pierce tribe of Native Americans..... and the mustangs are the most beautiful..... they have part andalusian in them as they were brought over by Spain. and r really good trail horses, and more.......................

  • @Jessers4Ever >>>>the name appaloosa comes from the Appalachian Mountains and the paloose river that ran past the the Nez Pierce tribe's land......

  • saartje05 i just believe that it is their business why they dont wear helmets .. I just dont like how people are calling people bad parents just because a kid isnt wearing a helmet.. I also believe Barrel Racing is a very Dangerous sport but as of being in barrel racing and not wearing a helmet is just a chance that you have to take in barrel racing!

  • @HugeMLfan11 Think about that again when the girld falls off the horse and someone ELSE has to save her life. You people are hysterical about everything but when it´s about a little girl wearing a helmet it´s the parent´s own businessf? LOL!!

  • awwwwwww

  • who agrees is it just me or does that look like a barbie riding a horse?!?!?!

  • @pandapenguin123 Luckily it doesn't.

  • @pandapenguin123 agreed

  • like everything except she doesnt have a helmet on

  • If you don't know the horse and don't know the kid why would you say the horse is a dangerous size and her parents are irresponsible. I'd say put more effort into looking at how well this little girl rode this horse, and how good a babysitter this horse really is. She and her horse looked great, keep up the good work.

  • good job with your horse!

  • That looks like an amazing horse!

One more thing....I'm now trying to be mean or something but SERIOUSLY can we please STOP obsessing over her wearing a helmet? It's her parents decision! If they want to put a helmet on her they can! If they don't, they don't!

    Thank you

  • @AquaAngel374 I agree. My parents had me wear a helmet most of the time. It is a good idea. It is the parents decision. Before you judge this girl's parents on having her wear a helmet, first think about texting or calling while driving, riding a bike without a helmet, and driving without a seat belt just to the post office and allowing. Thank you.

  • this is what makes good barrel racers if you ask me.. they start young and they aren't scared of anything because they dont think about the what ifs and they havent had anything happen (most that i know) also they have amazing seats because they start out to short to reach the sturups so thy have to learn balcance... i wish i started young :(

  • Totally irresponsible.

  • when i go to lil barrel races out at my cowboy church i ride at the same rodeo as a three year old tht was recently two who has actually won ... and has never worn a helmet i was never forced to wear one either that dosent mean i have bad parents and it dosent mean she has badd parents im only 11 and im still not wearing a helmet so i htink personally that is the parents or the kids choice

  • @HugeMLfan11 And if something happens who's choice is it to pick up the wounded child? Not bad parents? They're so irresponsible it's unbelievable. If you think it's their choice or the kids not to wear a helmet you think the same about not wearing seatbelts in a car? What IF something happens? Do you still think it's their choice? Or are you crying and call for help?

  • Wear a helmet and get a proper sized horse.. aka Pony. If this horse were to spook, your child would most likely be seriously injured. Their is not a single rider in the world of any discipline that is "too good for a helmet". Don't be so stupid. Protect your child.

  • She's obviously very capable for her age but still, thats a very big horse for someone so small with no helmet.

  • nawhhh, okay the helmet factor, is entirely the parents choice tho....

  • No helmet?? Wow what kind of parents does she have?

  • @blazinghot18 I never rode horses with a helmet when I was younger. Just because she isn't forced to wear one doesn't mean they're bad parents.

  • Wow she has a wonderful seat at the canter!

  • people who dislike the videos of little kids or any people riding horses make me sick

  • awww she didnt look happy at the end. To bad she didnt look like she enjoyed it, that horse was really gentle with her.

  • that's a big horse for such a small girl. Very cute though. LOVE IT

  • That's a fat but pretty horse

  • that is a tall horse!

  • she should be wearing a helmet, but other then that, she is sooooo cute, and her horse is so beautiful <3

  • At least she didn't get bucked off!!!

  • sooo cute

  • they should have a age limit for helmits you think u have the most hilly trained but things happen

  • Wow that is amazing and adorable!! (love the pink tack!)

  • i grew up barral racing!

i started on a trot then a canter then a gallop

my horse musta busta is awesome!!

  • to ppl who say she should be wearing a helmet no one i know ever started with a helmet and we are all still fine

  • I wish my horse goes this fast! ;D

  • I wish my parents would have gotten me started on stuff like this when I was younger =/

  • the announcer sounds like a stalker in the beginning

  • OMG SHE'S GOOD FOR HER AGE

  • adorable!

  • Everyone shut the fuck up about the girl not wearing a helmet! I swear you guys just like to argue on youtube videos. Every time I scroll down to the comments there's an argument or a person criticizing. Geez

  • always follow your dreams and they will take you to the top and its HER choice if she wants to wear a helmet or not i dont

  • @Breyerlvr Actually, at most barns, it's NOT her choice. Under most state laws you are required to wear a helmet if you are under 18. Yeah, it's great that she's starting early and has a lot of talent, but is it REALLY such a style drag to put on a helmet?

  • wow what an amazing team! L O V E

Justt a random question but you know for western saddlels (my spelling :S) do you have to get them measured and specialy fitted like you do with english ones?

  • @bethluvshorses No. You buy them by 'Pony' 'Normal' Or 'Draft' Usally pony saddles are really small, Normal saddles are for a normal adult size, and draft saddles are usally much larger

  • You guys should quit commenting on how this girl isn't wearing a helmet it's not your choice to say if she does or not I don't wear one and everyone of my friends who rodeo don't wear helmets... That was a amazing ride! She's going to win lots just keep riding!

  • Beauuutiful,

    beautiful...

    Nice

Your doing a good job :)

    Funny speaker loud annoys me!

  • Where's that kid's helmet?

  • WOW OMG GOURG HORSE AND AMAZING RIDING!

  • that horse is huge!

  • thumbs up if r watching this in 2011

  • its none of my bidness but she should were a helmet

  • aw that horse is so chill! good run, keep at it! :)

  • just saying.. but not everyone wears a helmet.. i don't. what are you gonna do about it?

  • I bet if she rides a pony she can go faster cuz she will be able to sit it better. :) But still VERY cute!

  • I started barrel racing when i was 3!!! BTW: She should have a helment!!

  • wow that horse is huge and pretty also that girl did really well

  • pink polos, pink, saddle pad, pink boots, pink bridle, pink reins, pink hat. What about a pink helmet. I mean really

  • @horseygrl911 Personal choice. It's not up to you.

  • floppy reigns, hard mouth, floppy reigns, hard mouth, floppy reigns, LOL... we all have our learning curve. Great horse, good ride :)

  • That appy is worth it's weight in gold! :D

  • Where's that helmet? :)

  • All Those People Put There Children On Big Horses So They Look So Cute And Like There The Best , Wel Tuff I Was 3 Whn I Started Barrel Racing And I Rode A HORSE Soooo

  • blessed are the four legged angels that carry the little ones safely

  • Dang I wish that I was riding horses when I was five, cause i would be so much better now. Hey I am doing pretty good for someone that has rode horses for a few years.

  • i wish i got to do that when i was 5 :(

  • awh thats adorable:)

  • This little one should be wearing a helmet. Accidents happen.

  • @readtoteach Yes, they do... regardless of whether or not you're wearing a helmet. Personally, I've had more trouble out of those things than they ever helped me.

  • @readtoteach Well i think it's her choice!

  • @readtoteach totally agree with you! she may be a good rider, but if she falls its a long way down and she will get very badly injured, especially if shes not wearing a helmet.

  • @readtoteach Its not your life so i suggest you leave it alone

  • Awwwwww...... good horse!! Takes care of the little girl!!

  • Yes! What a great little cowgirl!

  • HAHHAH SOOO CUTE AND I JUST SOOOOOOOO LOVE APPYS BEAUTIFUL U HAVE A COWGRIL

  • I was actually suprised to see her without a helmet but I think thats only our regulations for barrels in australia. Do you really think a parent would put a child on a big horse without a helmet thinking she would fall, no. She managed the horse beautifully and its never to early to start in my opinion.

  • Oh no her hat!

  • Someone needs to put a helmet on this little girl.

  • @misterismybreyer Seriousy?....Sorry to burst your bubble sweetheart but nobody cares what you like and what you don't like. If you don't like something keep it to yourself because you sound like an idiot.

  • Comment removed

  • @misterismybreyer u can ride western and have pink things ya dipshit!

  • @misterismybreyer uh seriously u can ride western and have pink maybe the little girl likes the color plus it looks good on the horse. u gonna go against blue next? cuz my barrel saddle is black and blue. some people like diiferent colors on thier horse

  • @mightymouth4ever actually, most barrel racers run pink tack... or green, or blue, or some other girly color. At the very least, the legs are wrapped or braced in colors.

  • @dosthepost i know most people run with girly colors i was tryin to make th epoint that it doesnt matter what color they run in they love te sport and tat could be the color they like :) i wasnt sayin that they dont run with anycolor the only reaso i use blue is becuase thats what my horse looks good in

  • so cute!

  • Beautiful horse

  • I love the announcer but I wish parents would put helmets on their kids

  • @Kiwi1694 i know right? i mean little girl, big horse, someone is gonna get hurt!

  • that girls gonna be the best barrel racer around!

  • could someone put a helmet on that kid?

  • That is really cute. She did good. Thats a big horse!

  • I love the pink thing goin on there :)

  • She was good for being only 5! Beautiful horse too.

  • She was goos for being only 5! Beautiful horse too.

  • put a helmet on that kid!! i know its not the law in most states, but it's saved my life more than once...

  • Was this in swan river??

  • That's a real babysitter!

My mom's horse wouldn't go above a lope. He was like, "Just hang on kid, just hang on."

    lol

I still love him though. ^-^

  • wow shes got confidence on that big horsey :D

  • love all d pink

  • some parents are desper
