It's probably some fine print in the Castle's warranty.
Something like "..can be eternally rebuilt in any shape or form with out changing the owners chamber or access to said chamber, otherwise this warranty will be void and the owner sent into eternal damnation...".
As Alucard say to Maria in SOTN... That castle is a creature of chaos and can take many incarnations. But he forgot to say that the stairway to Dracula's chambers and the chambers as well always gonna be most likely the same. (:
Yes, you are. Buildings with multiple stories tend to have stairs in them. Thank you SO much for pointing out the obvious repeated use of stairs in these games.
For the most part, the castle is supposed to be the same. It is an incarnation made by dracula, just like I haven't played a Castlevania with out there being a clock tower.
@hydrolisk1792 But Lament of Innocence actually doesn't take place in Castlevania, Dracula's Castle. It takes place in Walter's Castle (I'm not sure if that castle has a name by itself).
Yeah, those are the same stairs repeating themselves over and over again each castle incarnation, but I see no problem with the fact that Dracula wants to stay fit going up by them every night after some good bloody feast and at the same time repelling lazy tired fat asses vampire killers...
Now, seriously: I have no problem with that being actually a veteran gamer, you feel familiar with the CV games thanks to the stairs and the music! XD
@CrimsomS Man, if you was Dracula; aeons old, having fast fortunes in gold dublouns, rubies, anciet treasures you would at least think his home would have adequate stairs of all things crucial to a castle but no Dracula had to blow it on a useless werewolf henchman, lol.

Imagine how each Belmont must've felt whilst about to start up these legendary steps...
Now, imagine what Soma Cruz felt at the same time. Most likely, it was: "Jeez laweez, I never had an elevator put in?"
KG7777 1 year ago
Almost all Castlevanias have those stairs, except Cv2, CvAdventure, Belmont's Revenge, Legends, Dracula XX, CotM and LoS

Castlevania is infamous for the overuse of stairs,as much as the candles.

Dracula's lair just isn't the same without a massive staircase. I'm just saying.
...Though, must be a great view up there.
silentzorah 3 years ago
Just to note I am not saying its a problem. I'm just showing people how many times those stairs have been used.
