Wow, first time I have actually seen people saying they liked the movie..... It was terrible.. A three hour movie that felt like it was 1.5. This movie had as much plot development as the Twilight movie, which also was terrible. Much love to David Yates for #5, but I'm sad to say #6 is not so great 3/5.

My cousin is a huge Potter fan, she read the last two books in three days, but she took a few of us to see it at a 12:20 special viewing...AWESOME! And the audience was just as great, some dressed up like students of Hogwarts, or thier favorite characters, they performed skits, and were very well behaved through out the movie. I must say It was a great time, although we all left on a more somber note, all in all, I have to give it a 5 out of 5. I mean, you can't fit the whole book in.

I thought the only good parts were the opening part and when dumbledore wants water and harry went to go get it. That hand scared the shit out of me. Good thing i was in the ultra screen with those awesome seats that tilt and all that shit. And the ending was so sudden. It was like "This is such a peacful place" and then BAM! ending of movie. I wouldn't have gone if i didn't go with a bunch of my friends.

I'll rate this movie one and a half stars.

This Harry Potter is really a let down. JKR has written a great book.What was the burning of the Burrow all about?Not important to the plot. Gratuitous violence. You can also see where the screen writer's going with the new movie. No Kreacer, no Dobbie, no Bill or Fluer (although the shell cottage has been built for the movie on the natl. sea shore in Eng). All characters critical in the book and plot & ignored by the writer. Dumbldore's iinsturctions about Harry turning 17 going back home. sad

I thought it was brilliant. It stuck to the book very well. And the point of burning the borrow was to show the dark times that they are in (of course they asked jk rowling first before putting it in) because they couldn't really show all the deaths in the daily prophet. And Dobby and Kreacher are in the next one, what would be the point of putting it in this one? They were only in the 6th book for a couple pages. What characters were ignored? Bill? he's in the next one. not very critical btw.

I just saw this movie yesterday. While it was a little more directed for a more mature audience, I thought that the plot was very weak. It was like the first half a movie and not the entire story. I think that now that they are coming to the end of the books, they're trying to milk it for all it's worth. This will be the only HP film that I'll only see once.
