who does the voice overs for that metro system and bus system.... when i was in montreal i never heard the audio voiceover in the busses.....unless its only the hybrid busses that do that now..

@CanChikMay Michel Deslauriers is the official voice of the STM. Only the Articulate buses on the 467.

Its kind of ironic that Quebec forces its transit agencies to buy from Novabus (because the plant is located in Quebec) whereas they dont buy buses made outside the province. To add salt in the wound, Quebec always cries for more equalization money when they dont have enough

@GordonFreemanD40 TTC just wants to buy from NovaBus in 2013 because the big Articulated buses but right now TTC is more interested in NovaBus then New Flyer because of the frames are stainless steel since New Flyer does not make stainless steel frames on their buses yet. But if Orion makes an Artic then they will change it to Orion and the VII Third Generation more Reliable than their Earlier VII’s they made.

@TheJackiechan512 I agree with you on that one the Novabus are a waste of money since disable people merely use it.I also find them noisy surprisingly the STM claims they consume 15% less gas.Can we trade mayor I'll gladly send Mr. Tremblay to Toronto in exchange of Rob Ford we need a man tough on crime and also someone willing to stop the gravy train !!!!!

@MrMegaWizard I think they need to serve Scarborough and other areas with a subway system.What I like from Toronto is that your new mayor Mr.Ford seems to get what he wants like when he ask the TTC to find 16 million $ and they got back to him in 24 hours and avoided a raise in transit fares.

@Paul3117 they are building the eglinton crosstown LRT as a light rail RT line like the C-train, using something other than Flexity streetcars for rolling stock. The Sheppard subway is going to be extended to Markham Road.

The brand name of the AAs is CLEVER DEVICES, LTD. I saw it today on 29-837 when the driver started the bus! :D

I could tell it was Clever Devices from the time and date format. I'm glad they've started to expand into Canada. I know Ottawa was their first Canadian order.

@AntoDamicoShow I checked it out, and Michèle Deslauriers does all of the metro announcements now, but she sounds a bit different on the Green Line though. But she programmed all of the station voices for both Telecite and the automated announcements for the MR63.
