it doesn't take long. after a while your hands just go to the note you want to transcribe. i would probably have to think to tell you what note I'm playing (i.e. A...or A#..stuff like that)...but I can play the note I'm lsning to.
nope this is was done by ear. i spent a long time on it. the bass part doesn't stand out too much in the mix..but if you lsn intently you can hear the little variations.
