  • Matt Taibi's piece in Rolling Stone, was good. Goldman Sachs is the criminal section of the Fed that controls and rapes the capital markets worldwide. I just wonder what Matt's game is. I saw Nat GEO's recent propaganda piece on 9/11 and Matt was one of the govt's key shills ignoring key forensic evidence and using cheap parlor tricks to debunk pure science. Maybe, his job is to misdirect attention from the true criminals while they make their getaway, Just like CIA's Woodward during Watergate

  • how do you "avoid these crooks" when they are the dealers at the table. as an ordinary joe, anything you invest in these shitheads are waiting at the end of the money trail are collecting your invested capital AS WELL AS YOUR TAX DOLLARS!

  • @nxu89 Don't spend any money. Boycott everything possible until the crooks are reigned in.

  • i think this is quite a leap for someone whom doesn't know alot 'bout this stuff as he claims. look...there is always a certain amount in this population that will be greedy. perhaps these banks should be forced private to lessen the damage. but these money swindling schemes have bee around since the beginning of time and are part of human nature. it's our job to avoid crooks like this.

  • @green95gt Matt said that Goldman called him an "idiot," yet they did not dispute any of the facts in his article. Just because a person doesn't have a background in a certain area it doesn't mean the person can't understand a subject. The great thing about Matt Taibbi is not only that he can understand this subject but he can explain it in a way that the average person can understand it, as well. Pity for Goldman.

  • attempting to place sole blame for repeal of glass/steigel on clinton and rubin is absurd -- please know that the whole idea came from sen phil gramm, a republican, and was an accommodation to the republican senate for passage of other critical bills...

  • Amen.

But this is a big reason why lefties (including old Nader voters like me) should embrace and RUN RUN RUN w/ recent noises by disgruntled righties (Palin & the Ron Paul crowd too) that the GOP should split in two.

Credible signaling by some some left-side movement that anti-Blue Dog, anti-DLC, & anti-corporate Dems would like to see more party options on OUR side too...could be a real potential game-changer.

Don't let a crisis go to waste indeed.

    good channel here:

  • and of course, by 'good channel' I mean FairVote, not fnc.
