  • music videos back in the sixties were so simple but that didn't matter because the song great nowadays you get someone like Lady GaGa or JLS flashing their naughty bits in videos

  • He was so bloody young, just amazing!!

  • this songs for the villa scum

  • Great song; and this version slightly faster than the other one on YouTube ( both a good; it's interesting to sample them at different speeds ). It's funny, I've been in shops or a fitness centre and they put this song on ( either radio or CD ) and you see " young people - girls in particular, start dancing or moving to it ( which is fine ); a good example of a classic song. No doubt they have no idea how old it is !!!

  • this was music unlike the crap they produce today

  • @Ja14111948 You are sooooo right.

  • I thought the guys who sang this song were black hahhaaahahhaha.

  • stevie winwood.. genious, thanxs from brazil... valeu!!!

  • SUPER........

  • Commenteers: y'all have been pretty daft so far. How about noting something more specific than these generalities? Let's raise the tone. For example now, who has the facts about the author of this tune? This was a cover--but it was a new arrangement of the tune, and in a different style from the original. Five points if you can name the equipment onstage by brand name, two points extra if you get the microphones right. For experts: what's unusual about Stevie's guitar given that it's 1966 here?

  • @tedwinward wild guess:Marshall's on stage+philips microphone's...so please inform the facts-thank you.have not seen those previously.author unknown.great performance anyway.

  • @mullingman- Yeah... a Black American style

  • @mullingman - Yeah, a BLACK American style

  • sorry, i'm no music genius and stuff but when was the eletric guitar made?

  • sol: Checkout Charlie Christian circa 1931. LOL.

  • @sol200997 In the 1930's

Check wikipedia under electric guitar :)

  • Inspired my first serious cross country run did this song and I was so sore and stiff I couldn't sit down without hard work for a week.

  • It's not a matter of singing like a black bloke, it's more singing in an American style.

  • you tube is the best!!!!!!!!!!!

  • such huge sound out of such a small set they don't do this today!

  • Great, great tune, thanks so much!

  • Me too, for a 15 yr. old you have a great adventurous taste in music, consider all the 20 somethings who only dig gangsta/ hip-hop, and don't know Motown.

  • Voice second to only Steve Marriott, oh darn Awollner, another white boy.

  • Good comment Penguin0994, why spam?

  • When i first herd this i tought the singer was black! i am really disapointed now.... / a white boy

  • Your a racist. He was 16, wrote the songs played lead guitar too.

  • I am not a racist!

I love black music, and i love his voice, BECAUSE its sounds like a black man is singing.. :)

I am amazed that a kid could sing like Ray Charles! Thumbs up for both of them

  • Then your a racist, read what you just wrote, "YOU LOVE HIS MUSIC BECAUSE HE SOUNDS LIKE A BLACK MAN", what if I say "I LOVE HIS MUSIC CAUSE HE'S BLACK BUT SOUNDS LIKE A WHITE MAN????

  • no you moron, i would love his music even if he was black!

I love both black and white music,

All ime saying is that he sound like a black man, in that I mean a, deep, dark, clear nice voice, witch with peoples OFTEN miss..

I listened to this song a long time before i saw the video, i was surprised that he was a white teen, not in a good OR bad way!

  • That's not deep, try singing it at 1.33. "not in a good or bad way", you said I AM REALLY DISAPOINTED NOW..../ A WHITE GUY.

  • well, i didn't meant it my english suck... i am 15 year old and not a racist... i more meant, that I was chocked... i stop the debate here..

  • Who is drumming (and playing bass) along to this? Surely that's not the original sound for the film?

  • Righto...an early precursor( big word here!) to the whole pub rock thing

  • Yep, a great tune and one you almost NEVER hear on the radio!!

  • Hear on the radio??? ...in new engalnd , you will never hear anything this kool....ever....never,,.... ever..god fobid this h*t...pilgrams would siezure out

  • What a rare video, this is great!

  • Aha :) An all English version with no Finnish sub-titles :)

  • Boss tune. Written by Jackie Edwards

  • drum and fuckin bass..! nuff said!

  • I loved this song, one of the greats.thanks.

  • Classic 60's beat music. This looks like a rehersal. I haven't seen it before. Rare footage. Great!
