I wholly support the current DBSK and JYJ as separate groups.

However, in my opinion, this does show that the five would be able to hold themselves up without SM Entertainment. I appreciate the marketing and such that SM provides, but these boys have so much talent -- covering composition, singing, and dancing -- and I think perhaps they would be able to carry themselves composing their own music. I can't wait to hear JYJ's new material!

2 things that struck me whilst watching this teaser:

1. I never thought I would ever find a man running sexy BUT I've been proven wrong here lol.

2. Song Ji Hyo does the dazed look to perfection with the tears coming down her face.

i know that ill be bashed by many for saying this but i really hope that JYJ wont return to SM Entertainment. SM always limited JYJ's abilities to restrict their talent in songwriting. yes they've released their own composed works but not like this though. Leaving SME and forming JYJ was the best decision Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu ever made, now we can see how talented these 3 men truly are. Singing, writing lyrics, composing, mixing, arranging and producing their own songs, acting in dramas and musicals, directing etc., they can do it all, and they do it amazingly !

As JYJ they are being recognized as singers, lyricists, composers, actors (in dramas and musicals), and even director for Jaejoong. They are widening their fanbase, touching a new kind of audience, older and more mature. Sure, their appearances on TV and radio shows are limited, but they are finding new ingenious ways to promote their music, and even if they're having difficulties, it works.

Now that they split, they are probably having more influence musically, but their fanbase is definitely dwindling. They are lacking the funding and packaging only SM can provide. If JYJ had stayed in SM, they'd probably eventually touch upon composing, acting, and etc...WHILE getting the publicity they deserve and need

I acknowledge SME has pretty good performers on top of its formidable power over the Korean entertainment industry. But I seriously doubt SME has a vision and astuteness to cope with the ever changing environment in the world pop scene. Don't get me wrong though, since I give a credit at least for SME's shameless aggressiveness toward business and connections. ;)

@LastRain Ofc JYJ lost some fans but they've gained new ones through not only their music but also dramas and musicals. With SKKK, Yoochun was the first one to attract new fans (including a LOT of ajhuma fans) who then turned into JYJ's fans as well. The same goes for Junsu with his musicals and now Jaejoong with PtB. Also if you read articles and music reviews abt JYJ you'll see that in a lot of them, they are being recognized & praised as artists. And at least, they are their own bosses now.
