  • @zachxmosh The whole word *sadly* doesnt revolve around the US, we do not all live there. I personally know what wallmart is because I have been to the US. And how the heck can you put a different alarm into the built in one in the car? @dazzamate42 Wallmart is a cheap store, its equivalent in the UK is ASDA, IDK about Australia.

  • @zachxmosh LOLL

  • @zachxmosh He's from Australia. Walmarts aren't in Australia... learn to be nice.

  • @zachxmosh dude in some countries they don't have walmart for example, the country i live in, Malaysia so just ripp off that bratty attitude of yours and get your facts right cause not every country has it

  • @xXnXnXnXx whats your point?

  • @zachxmosh my point is, you believe everyone know what walmart is, just because you have it in america and you're american.

  • @xXnXnXnXx and app i created mc donalds

    sem noção!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How many times was it till you got that stick to make a line to line short?

Also lol at honeycomb, since when did they manufacture invisible transformers? The arc flash caused a shock wave large enough to set off car alarms.

  • @caveman175 No, no no, you're wrong, no stick hit the line. I was there, it didn't happen anything like that -_-

  • good video too bad about the yapping morons in the background

  • omg omg omg we cuda died omg that was awessssooooommemeememememe

  • gay

  • If you look closely an 00:03 an object appears at an angle right before the wires as if it were thrown up there to cause the power pole lines to short.

  • @TechnologyGod i saw it

  • Apparently retards are attracted to electricity.

  • its slow video and cheap audio but it did the job perfectly....nice hit

  • @RsBl0gger91 Good point.

Hey, why are ratings off on the comments?!?

  • @HoneycombAgent You can rate comments?

  • oh wow lmao

  • terrorsts...

  • Badly mislabeled. Nothing "explodes" in this video. You can clearly see that the power pole and transformer are intact, unburned, and undamaged throughout the video. There is a brief arc, which caused the EMP which set off the car alarm. If the transformer had "exploded" the whole area would have been drenched with burning coolant and core chunks. Grade: F. (Badly mislabeled, and audio is full of puerile yelling and cussing.) Stars: 1.

  • EMP? I think not! The arc made a loud bang, and that set off the car alarm.

  • @ccoraxfan : Wrong on both counts. Arcs do not cause bangs, and bangs do not set off car alarms. Electromagnetic pulses (such as those emitted by an arc at the instant it is suddenly quenched), on the other hand, often do set off car alarms, especially phase-to-phase hi-voltage (primary-side) arcs. If you watch other videos of such arc faults on YouTube, on the ones with good sound, you usually hear car alarms going off after a big arc quenches, due to the EMP.

  • Arcs do cause bangs, the huge current superheats the air and causes a small explosion.

And bangs, when big enough, most certainly DO set off most car alarms and is much more likely than an emp setting it off.

So noobs (ie lonewolfintj), i suggest maybe looking up some high voltage demonstration videos and explosions setting off car alarms instead of just yelling crap you really dont know that much about.

Also the author said POLE exploding, not TRANSFORMER exploding. Reading difficulty much?

  • @lonewolfintj If it was EMP, then nothing would work, not even a car alarm.

Normally, EMPs only occur when a nuclear bomb is detonated, not in situations when a power excursion event occurs on electrical lines. There are weapons in use that carry out non-nuclear electromagnetic pulse (NNEMP) attacks, however.

  • @HoneycombAgent : Nonsense. "EMP" just stands for "electro-magnetic pulse". Billions of them go through your body each second of your life at frequencies from 0Hz to cosmic rays, from sources such as radio, television, quasars, arcs and sparks, etc, etc, etc. A big arc quenching always produces EMPs from radio frequency up to x-rays. Not enough to damage electronics, but it can trigger car alarms, etc. I've also triggered car alarms with both CB and ham radio transmissions.

  • I was sitting outside a mechanic garage, while my car was getting worked on...

It was rainy and windy today, and about 20 feet away...the power pole's transformers exploded like this, and there was also 3 loud pops!

and the electricity for the small strip mall went out.

  • whata monkeys

  • Ahaha, lol

  • @dazzamate42 Ahaha, #LOL »_» ÜÞßÒ

  • u shouted oh shit lol

  • Yes?

  • @dazzamate42 yes awesome are you from england or where are you frome?

  • Overhead power distribution is so "last-century".

  • Hey that happend to me to i was at my friends house and we went outside and then BOOOOOOOM the thing fucking exploded we were deaf for three fucking days

  • that is sooo not true, my ROOM was hit by lightning, left a 6 foot hole and caught attic on fire, but i wasn't deaf at ALL.

  • teenagers blow it up just like in russia 500 kv power lines, man throw wood to it and put down the energy O_o ...

  • I see, well, nobody did anything to this one

  • what a fuck you lier

  • @Cappeltje Well there's only one person that has posted videos on here of shorting out powerlines. He has quite a few videos. He's Russian by the way. Kamikadze something or other is what he goes as.

  • omfg!! thats awsome, wish i waz there

  • what the hell??? it exploded out of nowhere

  • Nice Video Cool.

  • If thoose teenagers did that next door and knocked my power out while i was doing something important on my computer, and it fried my computer, i would come outside with my 45Kv jaccobs ladder transformer with a battery pack with just 2 wires and i would light up their fucking lives, and maybe give them a nasty electric burn scar to live with from their age of 16, 17 or whatever till they die. ive had this comp for 12 years and dont plan on loosing it to retards without them paying.

  • wtf? The teenagers didn't blow it up, lol... It was raining really hard all day and made it short out and explode... Look at the weather in the vid... It's only phone quality, but it's still obvious it's pretty bad...

Don't worry your porn will be safe...

  • That is the dumbest comment I've ever seen! Medium voltage power lines don't 'blow up' every time there's shit weather. The little pricks would have just thrown a chain or something over the line, turned off power to about 10,000 people and cost the utility company about $20,000 (at best)

  • OMG! Why is there fuckwits commenting this?

Ok... We were out the front of the school that I used to go to... It was hailing, raining hard, weather was shit, then noticed the power pole was smoking, nobody threw a chain onto it... ok, you know why I know that??? Because I was actually there and actually filmed it myself...

No it didn't turn off the power to 10,000 peoples homes, it didn't turn power off to anything.... FARK!!! Just went bang

Yeah it was ages ago, but I still remember it

  • U sound like Gilbert Grape.... ha ha ha ha h

  • k...

  • what a bunch of f-in idiots...

  • You are...

  • lol nice 1, i like the tags 'possibly terrorists' from the twin towers to power cables lolol

  • I've learnt to except that anything and everything can be blamed on terrorists

  • @mikeleh2 real terrorists would have cut of the TV line ;)

  • Wow youre so lucky!

  • I bet that was REALLY loud, the phone sound just can't capture that...I mean, it set off a car alarm-we are talking thunder loud here...

  • Idiots always laugh like that.

  • I know! LOL It always sounds like it's a bunch of young, punkass frat dudes in these damned videos!

  • Yeah, it's a giggle more than a laugh

  • Why does everyone have to act like a fucking retard when they see a simply little arc accompanied by a slight bang sound?

  • Because you smell

  • @sirsilentbob:

I guess you don't know how loud an electric explosion can be. But we are talking about a very high current. This is for sure very loud.

so the reaktion of the people nearby is no wonder. It has nothing to do with retarded or something like that.

  • Exactly, it was quite loud... And we are retarded too... So you're both right :P

  • because their young and being young is about having fun. For some people it may be the first time they seen something like that.

  • i remember lightining struck a pole right next to my car when i was leaving from the beach

  • Haha, your username is cool

  • hahaha! i remember hearing about that at school!

  • haha thats mad cool!!

  • Wow
