@zachxmosh The whole word *sadly* doesnt revolve around the US, we do not all live there. I personally know what wallmart is because I have been to the US. And how the heck can you put a different alarm into the built in one in the car? @dazzamate42 Wallmart is a cheap store, its equivalent in the UK is ASDA, IDK about Australia.
@zachxmosh dude in some countries they don't have walmart for example, the country i live in, Malaysia so just ripp off that bratty attitude of yours and get your facts right cause not every country has it
@zeon991 i ripped it off a month ago........ and i knew that but wal mart is one of those places that most ppl know about i havent ben to UK but i know theres GAME places there just like the GAMESTOPS in USA so yeah
@zachxmosh fuckin american piece of shit thinks cuz you have some lameass supermarket chain the rest of the world do, We have enough already with your mcdonalds and other mediocre/crappy food chains.
If you look closely an 00:03 an object appears at an angle right before the wires as if it were thrown up there to cause the power pole lines to short.
Badly mislabeled. Nothing "explodes" in this video. You can clearly see that the power pole and transformer are intact, unburned, and undamaged throughout the video. There is a brief arc, which caused the EMP which set off the car alarm. If the transformer had "exploded" the whole area would have been drenched with burning coolant and core chunks. Grade: F. (Badly mislabeled, and audio is full of puerile yelling and cussing.) Stars: 1.
@ccoraxfan : Wrong on both counts. Arcs do not cause bangs, and bangs do not set off car alarms. Electromagnetic pulses (such as those emitted by an arc at the instant it is suddenly quenched), on the other hand, often do set off car alarms, especially phase-to-phase hi-voltage (primary-side) arcs. If you watch other videos of such arc faults on YouTube, on the ones with good sound, you usually hear car alarms going off after a big arc quenches, due to the EMP.
Arcs do cause bangs, the huge current superheats the air and causes a small explosion.
And bangs, when big enough, most certainly DO set off most car alarms and is much more likely than an emp setting it off.
So noobs (ie lonewolfintj), i suggest maybe looking up some high voltage demonstration videos and explosions setting off car alarms instead of just yelling crap you really dont know that much about.
Also the author said POLE exploding, not TRANSFORMER exploding. Reading difficulty much?
@lonewolfintj If it was EMP, then nothing would work, not even a car alarm.
Normally, EMPs only occur when a nuclear bomb is detonated, not in situations when a power excursion event occurs on electrical lines. There are weapons in use that carry out non-nuclear electromagnetic pulse (NNEMP) attacks, however.
@HoneycombAgent : Nonsense. "EMP" just stands for "electro-magnetic pulse". Billions of them go through your body each second of your life at frequencies from 0Hz to cosmic rays, from sources such as radio, television, quasars, arcs and sparks, etc, etc, etc. A big arc quenching always produces EMPs from radio frequency up to x-rays. Not enough to damage electronics, but it can trigger car alarms, etc. I've also triggered car alarms with both CB and ham radio transmissions.
Hey that happend to me to i was at my friends house and we went outside and then BOOOOOOOM the thing fucking exploded we were deaf for three fucking days
@Cappeltje Well there's only one person that has posted videos on here of shorting out powerlines. He has quite a few videos. He's Russian by the way. Kamikadze something or other is what he goes as.
If thoose teenagers did that next door and knocked my power out while i was doing something important on my computer, and it fried my computer, i would come outside with my 45Kv jaccobs ladder transformer with a battery pack with just 2 wires and i would light up their fucking lives, and maybe give them a nasty electric burn scar to live with from their age of 16, 17 or whatever till they die. ive had this comp for 12 years and dont plan on loosing it to retards without them paying.
wtf? The teenagers didn't blow it up, lol... It was raining really hard all day and made it short out and explode... Look at the weather in the vid... It's only phone quality, but it's still obvious it's pretty bad...
That is the dumbest comment I've ever seen! Medium voltage power lines don't 'blow up' every time there's shit weather. The little pricks would have just thrown a chain or something over the line, turned off power to about 10,000 people and cost the utility company about $20,000 (at best)
Ok... We were out the front of the school that I used to go to... It was hailing, raining hard, weather was shit, then noticed the power pole was smoking, nobody threw a chain onto it... ok, you know why I know that??? Because I was actually there and actually filmed it myself...
No it didn't turn off the power to 10,000 peoples homes, it didn't turn power off to anything.... FARK!!! Just went bang

I was sitting outside a mechanic garage, while my car was getting worked on...
It was rainy and windy today, and about 20 feet away...the power pole's transformers exploded like this, and there was also 3 loud pops!
