  • The new ones look awesome.

  • Patiently waiting on the octave strips for my 1976 Suitcase!! :)

  • What would the advantage be to having octave strips vs individual dampers?

  • Very well thought through product guys , congratulations. I recommend them highly without even have tried it judging from this video-material too anyone with a "bouncing-city-damperdeal-instrument".

  • another great product!

  • Hi, yes we will have the octave strips as well. Look for them in the future. Thanks

  • I know it's a bit soon Chris, but will you be releasing the octave strips with this new design?

  • @turn1ablist: What would the advantage be to having octave strips vs individual dampers?

  • @mralanb Well the earlier pianos had single dampers my 1975 has octave strips. With the move to octave strips the only benefits were, less hassle than having to ensure each individual damper was aligned correctly secondly it would also reduce the assembly time of a piano. Apart from that there was no real change in performance until the MK V's dampers which VV have replicated. Hope this helps! :-)
