this is truly an amazing video. thank you so much as i am heading to peru next summer and this video certainly helps me prepare for this hike..thanks again!
I loved this video. Thank you so much for sharing. You captured everything I am expecting to see and enjoy when I travel there in June 2012. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
@tazzzx It's highly likely you'd struggle to complete it. I saw a young man, similar weight, accompanied back to the start after only a few miles. It was the easiest part. He was out of breath, red faced and had difficulty walking. We're hikers but we still did extra hikes for 3 months before going. The youngest 2 in our group dropped out after 2 days, they were in their 20s. You could start walking, build up your muscles and stamina & lose weight in the process. A fantastic goal to aim for eh?
So I hear you have to have a guide and all the guides work for tour companies that charge a lot of money. Is that true? If so, how much did you pay when you went if you don't mind me asking? Love how you described your experience, I am looking to try to do the same thing you did back then.
awesome story, i will be doing the same journey next month, cant wait!
