Yes,the food would be available if other developed countries of the world woke up.There are countries where people are starving on the other hand there are countries where people are treating for obesity..some of them throw food,meals away to the dustbins 'cause they don't appreciate it,they don't realize the problems like in this video..money is dropped into wars,weapons,modern technology as mobile phones,cars etc.This system can't keep on and one day will fail.

Stockshunter, there is much we can do. Email or call your Representative and Senators. Tell them you want the War in Afghanistan to end (estimated $40 Billion this year). Tell them you support the humanitarian aid going directly to the Afghan hospitals and rebuilding efforts (estimated $1.5 Billion this year.) Support a peaceful solution.

If the Afghan people had jobs rebuilding their own country with US aid (instead of Halliburton's personnel), the Taliban would have far fewer recruits.
