damn i did that like 3 times in a roll the problem is that it says its connected but its not and u cant see any dns or ip adress at all i dont know its doing this for the first time by me i just came in bulgaria to my uncle and first it all went good until i couldent connect to itunes store and then i did that what u showed here and yea now i cant connect to his wifi network at all :(

mate you are a life saver! i followed your steps then i had to do it manually becuase my ipod 2ng gen didnt automatically find the network, i had to find out the name of my wifi connection (my hub or router) you can do this either by looking on your computer when connected or laptop doesnt matter and simply type the name exactly into your ipod wifi search bar and change security to WEP if you have a password and done!
