punk was different in "77 and 69" it wasnt your little emo thing you guys have going on, it was about music, and not conforming to capitalisation, which is what both hippy and gypsy culture believe in. the difference is, hippies kept true to that ideal life of conformity, despite they dont wash or shave, where as typical pucks today are conformists - lots of black side fringes with a ridiculuous colour in their hair and band teeshirts. the exact opposite of the try punkrocker she is talking bout
