you can consider it a very interesting port of the PC game back in 1995

but Rayman Advance has more bugs than any game i have played so far

and i am talking about the "bad" glitches here. the glitches that occur in the port are not helpful at all! seriously, they usually all mean death

Comparing the design of everything, it's the same jumping mushrooms and flying bombs, but the graphics are aweful! Oh sweet whoolsack!

I gotta have it though, Rayman fan, can't help it. Not gonna play it much I think, anyway...

yeah the game over is really the "darkest" thing in that game. there is something strange in gbc rayman games. compared to ps and pc versions, rayman 1 is very dark ! And rayman 2 forever is also very dark, more than rayman 1 gbc !

The storyline is the same only you only see 2d pictures in it. Not really videos. And the game is the same game only because it is 2d it is still different. You can even crawl. Because it is 2d it is also like 1 but then with the worlds and items from 2. But you don´t do the same with Sam as Normally. Because it is not 3d it is impossible to do that the same. Exactly you see dangerous items but where are the pirates?

Haha. Yes, I know this game is old, but man this looks awful. The cutscenes look like they were made in MS Paint. But I can't really be an ass like that, it was probably very amazing back then.

Yes even not a video but just cutscenes. I never got this version. I have still my old GBC but i only have a few games of it. And when i had it i already knew about Rayman, i had it for the computer but now also for Ps2, but i never knew that it was also for the Gbc. I know it a long time now but i never realised that the Gbc version was that 2d version. They still sell it in Nedgame lol. Maybe i still purchase it but i am not sure Gbc is bad but the game is not very bad.

My sister got in for Christmas too... 1999, 2000, something like that. We were big fans of the first game for the Jaguar, although I don't think I got through the Dream Forest and I think her best run got to Blue Mountains... Grawr MEMMERREEZZ.

Ah, I remember this game. I got 100 percent, but all's that really gives you is a level select for the bonus games as well (which I didnt really like).

Then again I never really liked this game that much. Theres 2 bosses, but theyre both exactly the same, and theres barely any different types of enemies.

Oh for crying out loud. How many console versions of this game did they make? Six? First they release the original on N64 and then they kept remaking it for other consoles. Is this the most popular Rayman game or something?

no the most popular ones are still the 3D ones for sure. this is just my favourite rayman 2 game ...(and the only one i have ever completed)

i use the AVI record in the VisualBoyAdvance. i don't know why but after a time it gets out of sync, the sound is a bit late with the video

first: read the title: rayman 2 on game boy color a.k.a Rayman 2 The great escape

second: no this is the sequel to the first rayman ( DUH) it's number 2

third: the graphics are exactly the same and the music got a little improvement in the sound. sounds a bit more lifely

ahh no problem...i don't really hate this game but it is just not as good as the first i think...you get more dangers...like the water and the copy...oh and you get a real boss battle with the real badass...but here you get only about three dangers...rising lava(in one level only) and two henchmen to fight...the other stuff is just try to get to the end of each level...so that's why i don't enjoy this game that much...but it is still a great game
