I'm a councilor at a Christian summer camp and everytime we have a lesson we sing a song for it. So when we teach about how God made each of us fearfully and wonderfully we sing this. All the kids love this song so much. <3

I think if you think about Jesus singing some of these words in my opinion it is even more moving, and that is the MIRACLE of the gospel, that God "waits for us"! He was waiting for us in when on his knees in the garden of Eden, he was waiting for us on the cross, and he is waiting for us in Heaven. He is the lovesick God, the one who would and has died to have you and me in his company. How miraculous! Allelujah!!!

The Bible has been proven to be truth. The Bible is now considered a historical document. There is actually evidence proving that Jesus Christ lived, died, and rose again for you and everyone else in this messed up world.
I'm a Christian and I commend your spirit but that's simply not true. The Bible is a cultural document and no Christian believes and lives like it's completely infallible. We should read it with respect but still understand that it's recorded by humans. Actually, there is ample historical research and evidence that strongly supports the veracity of the Bible. I'm at work now and cannot commit the time to provide links, etc. You may start with Chip Ingram's Why I Believe series, Christian Research Institute, and research of historical methods for determining the accuracy of documents, though that's just scratching the surface. It may not be an easy task, but well worth it.

i wasnt talking about the bible, and besides, truth or not it WAS hand selected from thousands of documents and that is proven to be true. not to mention it was passed on numerous times by word of mouth and it was written down with all the exaggerations by the people who passed the stories on word of mouth. plus translations, which include incredible misconceptions on certain words meanings today, never mind two thousand years ago. and finally the bible stories were hand picked by a comittee.

I would like to challenge you to really look into the Bible. Apprently you don't know too much about it. The Bible has 66 different books inside it. . it was written by some 40 different people on 3 different contenents. . .(And there is not 1 contridictary in these books!) Find one if you think it's there!! 39 of the books were written hundreds of years BEFORE Christ, and yet they prophesy His coming. The other 29 books were written in a span of about 60 yrs AD by men who walked with Jesus!

It is in between the shortest and longest chapters in the Bible. I've been told it's the exact center of the Bible with 1188 verses before it and 1188 verses after it and has 594 chapters before it and 594 chapters after it. Most of all though, it shows Gods will for how we live our lives and handle our problems and doubts :-)
It can be historically proven that the Bible we use today is the same as one that might have been used 1600 years ago. And that's just the new testament; it is even easier to prove that the old testament we use today is exactly the same as it has always been for at least 3000+ years. Christianity is a very rational faith, all things considered.
There is no other piece of literature in history that is as accurate as the bible. For example, the book of Isaiah describes with detail what the promised Messiah would endure in chapter 53. Which was written, as secular scholars confirm, hundreds of years before Jesus was born. Before you make such assumptions perhaps you should look into the matter.

i wasnt talking about the bible, and besides, truth or not it WAS hand selected from thousands of documents and that is proven to be true. not to mention it was passed on numerous times by word of mouth and it was written down with all the exaggerations by the people who passed the stories on word of mouth. plus translations, which include incredible misconceptions on certain words meanings today, never mind two thousand years ago. and finally the bible stories were hand picked by a comittee.

looks like stonemeyer09 knows nothing about lofty25 who is in fact a confirmed christian but got very frustrated with the churches inability to compromise or in fact ever take a realistic view on life as a whole. why cant you just live life well, without having to make sure its okay with the guy upstairs? its all down to culture anyway. i just struggle with a religion whose most popular branch allows people to have the slate wiped clean every sunday at confession, its not right.

hi. i was responding to somebody saying that ppl can believe what they want to believe, and who's to say who's right. my argument was that everybody believes in rights and wrongs, the difference is believers get their direction from the infallible, inerrant Word of Almighty God, the Bible. i guess my text, taken out of context, could be pretty confusing. but anyways this is awesome music, glory and honor and praise be to Almighty God, namely, Jesus!

I would like to challenge you to really look into the Bible. Apprently you don't know too much about it. The Bible has 66 different books inside it. . it was written by some 40 different people on 3 different contenents. . .(And there is not 1 contridictary in these books!) Find one if you think it's there!! 39 of the books were written hundreds of years BEFORE Christ, and yet they prophesy His coming. The other 29 books were written in a span of about 60 yrs AD by men who walked with Jesus!

The Bible has been translated hundereds of times by different people! There is no way it could keep it's accuracy! OR SO I THOUGHT. The Bible showed me wrong. Like I said. . I challenge you to really look into it! There are other historical writtings of the time that are NOT religious that coinscide with what the Bible says! The Bible stands!

Look into the Dead Sea scrolls. There is no way a book translated and copied so many times could keep it's accuracy. . .but guess what! God is bigger than our understanding! The scrolls written hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years ago.. .in hebrew. .9 i think?) Is the SAME Bible we now have in english!! That is one thing scoffers can not explain!! But I can!! WE have a BIG GOD! I don't trust man to keep the Bible accurate. . but I do trust God! Take my challengs. . do the research.

It is in between the shortest and longest chapters in the Bible. I've been told it's the exact center of the Bible with 1188 verses before it and 1188 verses after it and has 594 chapters before it and 594 chapters after it. Most of all though, it shows Gods will for how we live our lives and handle our problems and doubts :-)

It can be historically proven that the Bible we use today is the same as one that might have been used 1600 years ago. And that's just the new testament; it is even easier to prove that the old testament we use today is exactly the same as it has always been for at least 3000+ years. Christianity is a very rational faith, all things considered.

There is no other piece of literature in history that is as accurate as the bible. For example, the book of Isaiah describes with detail what the promised Messiah would endure in chapter 53. Which was written, as secular scholars confirm, hundreds of years before Jesus was born. Before you make such assumptions perhaps you should look into the matter.

well the bible was written by just one guy and as for religious stuff good news is that following jesus christ isnt religious at all. religion was made by man in order to earn their way to heaven. jesus already did taht, he died on the cross for the sins or wrong acts that u have done. all of them. every single sin uve commited can and will be forgiven by God if u have faith and in jesus and ask God for forgiveness.

Selfish? I hardly find that right, I spend hours doing volunteer work for the sake of others, and know plenty of Agnostics that do just the same. As a side comment, the fact that "we dont know everything and wont understand everything" is exactly why I came into the Agnostic line of thinking, the fact that we trully never will know brings into question those that claim to know all.
