Nice set up bro... Ive been trying to do the same thing but I cant get my set up to work as yours does, maybe you have an idea... I network my external hdd set it up to share with anyone on the network with no password req. but nothing it only sees my computer not the external... even then the only time it will see the movie is if I put it in the share folder of my laptop turning my tb external into a nice soon to be ash try....

@RenewedFaith what operating system are you using? I have my computer being seen by my xbox using Windows Media Player and it shares the My Videos folder by default. Instead of sharing the actual hard drive from the My Computer screen, try sharing the videos that are on the External HDD through WMP. If you need more help with that let me know.

@djraulillo867 when ripped from DVD it is in VOB format but I converted it to AVI so it will play on my xbox 360

your setup is amazing!!
I was actually searching to see if it was possible to watch live sports from my computer (like veetle) so it shows up on my xbox.
