Yeah i understand where you're coming from. But you have to admit when he was in form he was arguably the USA's best forward(if you consider Donovan a Midfielder).This is also just his first season in Fulham. I think after getting acclimated and getting used to surroundings and playing style of people in England(cause lets face it MLS is completely different) he'll develop into a very good player. Remember hes still relatively young and around 24 years old. Since WC is in 2 years its good for US
