can you answer this? this probably is a stupid question but when you let go your thread and it spins such as in 2:40 , will that unwind or spread out the fibers or affect you wrapping at all? will it mess up the thread?
Tying is like anything, the more you practice, the easier it gets.
It also helps to read about it, watch videos and learn all one can about what they set out to do. Don't get stuck in one mold, or rather think only one teacher has the best ways. I learned from many people, some I never met, only read their books and articles.
i have been watching lots of your vids and must say that u are one off the best i have ever seen and allso you discribe the process very well and clear well done keep it up

If your thread loosens during tying, retighten or yes the fly will fall apart later.

It is the about the same froa crawfish pattern, just add the claws first. Use feathers, died squirrel tail...
