Thanks for posting! I saw them in Vail in '02. Brother of a friend owned the bar and we had to bring up an organ. Got to spend the afternoon in the bar while the band jammed. Very nice group and very talented.

thing is, we play standard 6 string guitar, robert randolph plays a pedal steel, there's a BIG DIFFERENCE. you can play things on a pedal steel that are hard if not nearly impossible to play on a regular guitar

honestly. Pedal steel is not that bad. I met Robert at his uncle's church some years back in Alabama. His uncle and my pastor are good friends. This was actually before he was famous he is a incredible person with a incredible attitude.
