I was 13 when i did the shopping that evening. I saw the headlines. The King is Dead. I brought the paper home to my mum and showed her. There was silence at home. The King was dead. Only when this song was released 3 years later was there a song that gave music to the grief a 16 year old lad felt. Now, finally at 44, a video worthy of the song, the singer and his subject. Even in the darkest of nights.Thank you Rob. Well done. Maybe one day we will meet Phil as he listens to the Kings call.
