you forget, skys father wasnt from the 3k, the orginal red time force ranger was of that era, remember they came back in time minus 1 red ranger, and recruited a guy from the modern day to take over as the new red ranger, making him the one most likly to fit th eprofile, as well sevral times u see the red time force helm with sky, revering to it as his dads helmet, maybe if it had been any other color yes id argue that it doesnt fit the time but the red time force was our day, so yes it fits
