  • That tele reminds me of Triggers broom...

"It's just a normal tele, with everything modded..."

    youtube.com/watch?v=pbha4XclSMU

  • What is with the wombat at the end? :)

  • I can't even imagine you having your axe set up by someone else. Why?

  • Actually, dude... there's a site called Pat's Guitars, and he takes apart a Ralph and Sandy Telecaster - just like yours - to see what's in it. Look it up on Google. It's absolutely terrible work.

And that Gibson mini humbucker? According to Pat, not a Gibson. Cheap copy.

Shame on you, Ralph and Sandy...

  • @EJRocky what are you talking about lol

  • I really want a Telecaster but I mainly play acoustic so don't know much about electric guitars. I am really having trouble deciding which Telecaster to get! The only way I have of choosing is colours...

  • i'm in love with the telecaster.

and i'm thinking too much about guitars, instead of practicing

  • Yeah, to clear it up its Ralph and Sandys, not mandys.

  • Justin (not sure if you answer these) but I was wondering where you knew where to get a three-knob Tele control plate. I'm (slowly) building my dream Tele and would love a Master Volume/Master tone/Blend pot set-up and would prefer (for both practical and aesthetic reasons) to have a three-knob set-up as opposed to a push-pull pot.

    Thanks alot for everything!

  • hey, order a blank from allparts and have someone drill holes.

  • I guess that would be Ralph and SANDY's Custom Shop that Justin mentions he's not happy with... I think he says "Mandy" unless I misheard...

  • The Mesa Boogie Thiele cabs are beast, yo. : )

  • lace sensor pickup are the best singlecoils if you doont mind them being a bit closer to the strings.

  • It's Ralph and Sandy's Custom Shop. They have a good rating on eBay, though it doesn't sound like they were too communicative with Justin. Justin must have been too nice to leave negative feedback. The guitar sounds great now!

  • haha what was that animal at the end man?

  • tazmanian devil

  • He's from Tazzie

  • @ZeppelinFloydRoses but he hasnt got two heads?

oh wait he want born there

  • cool

  • so you're saying that in the 80's fender didn't make any strats?

  • nice question the man is a fool

  • i love how he turns his head every time he strums. tehehe xD i love all your videos though :O

  • how long have you been playing guitar?

  • what kind of poor set ups were u talking about? what kind of set up did u have to pay for?

  • Do coil-splitting pickups sound as good as true single coils? I was thinking of putting one in a MIM Fender Strat, but don't want to sacrifice tone. Any opinions?

  • In a single coil stacked pickup, you are going to lose some output due to reduced windings being used on the single coil of the stack, but overall the sound will be very similar to a traditional single coil. On a traditional side-by-side humbucker, the output is the same, but the tonality varies. Some side-by-sides sound very strat like when split, while others sound a bit different. I hope that helps

  • Sorry, my response above was to your question.

  • his goldtop is better

  • I got a red Strat! XD Everyone told me to get a black one.

  • Do one about your acoustics! PLEASE!

  • That looks just like that telecaster that a guy names Patsguitars on ebay makes. Never heard of ralph and mandy, that sucks they hosed you, I know how much that model costs and that is not good business. I'll remember that and tell 11 people like they sad customers do when news is bad.

  • this sounds really basic and I should know this cos I know a fair bit about guitars but what is the difference between the sound of a neck pickup and a bridge pickup. Which one is best for lead guitar for example?

  • justin you rock you saved my ass dude!!!

  • oh shut up.

  • i always use the neck pick up in my strat...I think it's more powerful and less twangy than my bridge pickup...

  • I prefer the neck area for clean sounds as well. I have a humbucker in my bridge postition. I also like to use the first two together. Pocket POD's are also great for strats and teles.

  • I want that Strat......

  • I'm not a expert "yet" lol but because that doesnt have the normal type of pick ups youd see in a tele does it not have that tele twang most teles have?

  • what does "set up" mean

  • You have the action, intonation and all that stuff set up so the guitar plays and sounds the best it can

  • ur song page 99 is hella good

  • that would be sixty cycle hum. Single-coil pickups give that off because they pick up frequencies from computer monitors and lights and stuff. humbuckers have a double coil, which "bucks" or cancels, the hum.

  • can i have your telecastor??? please

  • Justin is a guy with a power to destroy businesses and a good guy to carry that power.

  • Just to note, on most strats you can get your pickup selection switch stuck in the middle of two settings, giving you even different sound and posibilities.

  • Justin, that looks like the tele i nearly bought from ralph and sandys-thank god i didn,t-looks cool though...Bob

  • where did u get your seymour duncan cool stack?

  • I saw Justin talking about that tele and how much he wanted it on his website forum

  • Nice vid Justin! Many thanks! The devil at the end scared the living daylights out of me!!!

  • Justin, any idea where to get a pickguard like that?

  • try ebay

  • check out musicians friend they have an extensive selection of fender pick guards.

  • you can also try Warmoth. They've got lots of pick guards and pick guard material.

  • or guitarcenter dude. that place has alot.

  • nope. non of those places have what I'm looking for. but I have found a place that will make one for me.

  • man you have some great tone

  • I have a Honey Blonde 52' Vintage hotrod tele. It's amazing.

  • fecking amazing sound you get off the strat, i might get one of them seymour duncans. I wonder if they do soundhole pickups for acoustics........

  • looks like its gettin cold across the pond aswell, lol. Sweet guitars man.

  • Thank you very much, Justin!

The guitar sounds so good in your hands.^_^

It is very helpful for the beginners like me, who don't know how to choose a electronic guitar.

It would be better if you could speak a little bit more slowly, or add the subs.;)

    Thanks again for the sharing!^0^

  • strats Yes I am retarded

  • what did he say he fitted on his strat? a fender something nut?

  • "roller nut" - allows for friction free movement through the nut when using the vibrato arm.

  • Y'd u guys thumb me down? Just answering on of the guys queries.

  • ur guitars are soooooo cooool

  • even a $20 guitar worths millions in justin's hands

  • You might be legally retarded! He has over 22,000 subscribers and is one of the best teachers out there.

  • You're the retard, the comment above was a response to some fucktard who came on here like "WATCH MY VIDS!" and in the recent ratings bit that the same user had 1 starred this vid. That comment was obviously deleted now cos it was spam

    Go fuck yourself

  • Can you not read? The comment wasn't to Justin. Someone made a comments saying "Look at my vids", and the same person had 1 starred this video.

But if you thought the original comment was aimed at Justin I doubt you can understand that.

  • Of course I understood your comment. But your "Go fuck yourself" comment shows your maturity level. Grow up!

  • Yes, maybe I should be more mature and call people "legally retarded".

Oh no, wait, that's just as immature.

  • he and Dave Taub are best!

  • cool guitars.

  • Justin is the badest mother fucka alive

  • JUSTIN IS COOL!!!!!!!!!

  • Great Job J. And a good ol' FAH-Q to bad Ebay retailers.

  • Awesome skirt justin :> One question; I have and Ibanez RGT-42, with two humbuckers, and sometime I get thet noisy sound (@ 1.26). Why is that? It's just sometime, but its annoying.. :/ Thx! /J

  • Try rotating your guitar or moving into a different room. Stuff like computer monitors puts out magnetic energy that messes with your pickups.

  • Oh, thank you! I've noticed that if I move myself with the guitar, it stopps, but not all the times:) Thanks

  • that was great justin!

are u ever gonna do a blog on your amps?

    im wondering what you use

  • cool thanks for the info

  • Hello Justin, from Sydney Sydney Sydney OY OY OY

  • Really, I thought it was blue? (jk) How much is the Seymour Duncan Cool Stack? Also, are you going to be uploading videos of your mesa boogie amps? Thanks for the vid Justin!

  • Awesome video. I like your 80s fender a lot.

  • sweet collection
