This girl is amazing. Im learning to bellydance using this DVD, i started 8 days ago, my body is changing and becoming more flexible. For the first time since high school i feel i can move in a sensual way. Her body movements will mesmerize you. She is truley amazing. Its a shame she didnt go far in Americas Got Talent. There are lots of jealous women out there who refused to vote for them.
@sugarfootsenior Well, I'll be, I never did know that! I just ordered her first DVD, not sure. I use to dance in my 20's and now 53. I want to build up my muscle tone and it is a gentle form of exersize while working all your muscles.
We are all blessed & gifted. Some have effortless physical beauty, some have incredible performance abilities that are polished by discipline & practice, and all have the right to present their gifts. We can learn to acknowledge and celebrate each for their own gift. No need to compare. Not everyone is open to receiving these gifts, and that is their choice as well. No Worries.
@ciccone34 Wow I couldn't agree with you more! I have seen Shakira's "belly dancing" it totally sucks! People are cheering and I"m like "losers." She looks like she's doing her first hip shake in a beginner's class hahaha! She really doesn't know how to do it at all. Meanwhile they dare to comment on Sadie who is an actual belly dancer and happens to be AMAZING BEYOND BELIEF!!!!!

Sadie is just natural, she doesn't have to hide poor belly dance skills with an inch thick layer of make up. Those artists you mentioned don't last longer than 30 seconds of "bellydancing". Besides, all that face-paint only distracts from what's really important: Her bellydanching skills.

Another question...does anyone know if this (and her other videos from Hollywood Music) are the same as the videos she produced at IAMED--international academy of middle eastern dance? I have the IAMED videos and so don't want to waste money on something that is just a duplicate. If there is different stuff on here then I would love to add it to my collection. Thank you!

Yes I have it. I've only some sections of it--she teaches 3/4 shimmy, how to move your hips up and down while also moving the hips in a circle or side to side (layering moves), upper body moves like chest circle and torso undulation. And I'm sure there's even more great stuff in the rest of the DVD! I highly recommend it, but beware it is very challenging. If you are a beginner, go for her "complete bellydance guide" instead, available on her website.
Does anybody know if this video is good for intermediate? I am not a beginner dancer but am not too advanced either. Would you recommend this video? Thank you!
I have read that this video is for all levels. I'm a baby belly and will be buying it. I know that other advanced and intermediate dancers will also be buying it. I'm buying it from her website.

Honestly, 30 seconds are not enough to get a clue if a dvd is worth the buy or not.
Why don't you make such clips like World Music New York so that one can better decide if the dvd is the one which is needed or not?
