Hello HamsaYoga. If it takes so long for enlightenment, is it possible for someone of young age to reach it? If time is suppose to be running out, say next year is truly the end, can I make it?
@Dylen2006 Relax, time is not running out and 2012 is only the change in the Manu cycle. You have time to transform yourself back into your true divine nature. There is a retreat coming up in Sept/Oct if you're interested in meeting and getting empowered into Kriya Yog by a living Master: hamsa-yoga(dot)org/retreats
I LOve this guy! But there's just 1 thing: why is he not acknowledging Hinduism here? The Siddhas were Hindu, and we owe it to them for the benefit of yoga.
@asswaxer100 Gurunath always credits India for being the ancient seat of Yog. But ShivGoraksha Babaji is the source of the alchemical technique of Kundalini Kriya Yog and not Hinduism or any other ism. Religions are the after effects and never the Source. So Gurunath gives credit where credit is due: to the Divine incarnation of Shiva Himself, Mahavatar ShivGoraksha Babaji.
@HamsaYogi Thanks for resoponding. I would agree that organized religion comes as an effect. But I think that sanatana dharm, in this case, is the source. And Shiva was first known to the common people by the scriptures.
@asswaxer100 Sanatana Dharma is that which is created and spread by the Lord. Sanatana Dharma has not been created by an individual. Although it is claimed by Hinduism, it predates it. The general assumption is that the Vedic hymns were either taught by God to the sages or that they were revealed, themselves, to the sages who were the seers or “mantradrasta” of the hymns, without name, claim or fame.
@HamsaYogi Yeah, I agree with most of what you're saying. But vedic literature includes the vedas and also the upanishads, at the very least. I'm gonna say that I hope guru ji mentions Sanatana Dharma at least some of the time-- not for any fame, but to make sure it's not forgotten how it all started--by the lord, and still being carried through humanity.
@asswaxer100 He mentions it all the time in talks and at satsanghs. I just read an article or interview with Him in Vision magazine where He cites Sanatana Dharma as Hinduism. There is no rejection in what's been referred to here; namely that no religion or ism represents God or the Truth. Gurunath stresses that Kriya Yog is a science and not a religion. However all major religions have contributed to the quest for Truth. But in the end, Truth is beyond any belief system or dogma.
He is such a Great Master. If he acknowledges only Hinduism, he is creating an image, a one died image. Then others may not want to learn from him. He is using Hinduism and portraying as a Universal teaching, non religious.
I have a question, are there in our planet earth real wizards or so called magicians and if there are where can I find information about them. Or what kind of magic does they use. Ifcourse I mean white magic.
@wernertrptube He has no stylist or dresser. He just lets it flow. And yes, if there is an icon that registers or resonates in the collective psyche of humankind, then He is indeed the archetype for God the Father. Look at the Sistine ceiling by Michelangelo and you'll see Him there in the Creation of Adam.
@wernertrptube When he says all the religion are cult does he mean all of them are invented? not inspired by God including the Guru teaching. are they coming from difference source. his teaching and all the religions of teh world?
@zatoichiable Religions are man-made. Kriya Yog is God-made. Gurunath emphasizes that Kriya Yog is not a religion or a cult. Religions and cults are exclusive. Kriya Yog is all-inclusive. Everyone is welcome at God's table and that means everyone. Let humanity be our uniting religion.
even if babaji's way is said to be the fastest way, it is still a way up the mountain to achieve cosmic consciousness, one should choose what fits them, we should take time to ask ourselves what is right for us, when we finaly understand ourselves we can be better at understanding the world around us
@Friendlyinternetspid Exactly ! Every human is a concoction of Energy, emotion, intellect etc hence in ancient traditions it is called kriya yoga, bhakthi yoga, gnana yoga and karma yoga. If you use you energies to reach your divine nature this is kriya practice but this seems to take too long to work for few because of the rigidness in their energies (not just the physical aspect)like personality etc.Thats y sadhgurunath says just be with me ,and no thoughts in mind..Dont expect anything just sit
It's all just a very rich dream, overwhelming, where we need to play eternally and along the road there is evolution and realisation that its such a beautiful divine divine game where u can pause and take a break lol.
what i cant understand is why are we on earth, why are we wat we are..(eating, sleeping, playing, whining, angry, merry etc), why must we age , why must we take pains n why must we die......why die?? if die then why come here in the first place..????.....no body explains this....
because we are evolving, we are here in the first place out of god's dream, this is but a dream to him, the god men are the ones whom have woken up, angry, merry, playing, sleeping, its just a dream which you evolve past slowly and slowly, here there is death, elsewhere past this universe there is no death but you must evolve past that with yoga.
good question. well, they have written books, they are found if one searches. They allow free will in humans to function, as they were once human and they had the choice so do we. His spiritual radiance is helping us, the saints feed us but we need to open our mouth and chew.
And how do you know that he and other yogis and saints of all the religions are not trying to do exactly that? It is our negativities and collective intent of going down which is pushing us into such abyss. Please if you do not know someone, show restraint. If you have met him and have something against him, it makes sense for you to comment. If you do not know him, then why comment negatively; not just abt Gurunath but anyone in general? I pray to GOD that we get more of such people and saints.
Do warriors have a purpose as a part of god? I'm a United States Marine and I'm trying to find my place in the world. More importantly, I'm trying to understand who I am and why god made me what I am.
I too struggle with the same question. While I am not a warrior in the armed forces. I do have a warrior soul. The question is does god need a warrior...that answer is yes, because the reality is you are but a reflection of god.
But even in times of peace you need warriors. Look inside for the path you choose.
If you read the first three chapters of the 'Bhagavad Gita' you'll start to have a clue. There are translations of it on internet. Google it! hope i helped!
Your wisdom and love leave me with a profound knowing that you so deeply and intensly know of and have an intimate relathinonship with God. Its this love of God that has truly inspired me to finally find the path that is right for me. I would like to find a way (here where I live)to know more that I too may serve God (through Kriya) God bless you and what you do!!!!
When I focus on humanity in my meditations I know that we are one. The spirit of humanity will soon be lifted. More and more of us will awaken to that unity of oneness.

theuniversalarthur - Very profound post.
The best understanding I have found regarding a Warrior's role in the play of God, is found in Paramahansa Yogananda's Bhavagad Gita.
This is a highly advanced concept, and subject to many interpretations.
Wishing you Godspeed on your quest.
