This has my vote for the single best song in the game. There are tracks that are flashier and tracks that are creepier, but none are as effective as this at giving you a sense of SCALE.

Castlevania is a big, big place. If you didn't know that when you started, the soaring brass and strings do a great job of tipping you off.

when i was a kid, this was my lullaby. i just go to my brother's room and turn on his psx with SOTN in with this soundtrack on loop. we had a specific game save in tower mist so that we could just step out the save room and immediately listen to this relaxing tune

You know, when I was a kiddo - I very frequently went to the tower of mist... when it was raining, I went to the lowermost platform and made Alucard sit. Then I put my handcontroller aside, and fell asleep to the music and the sound to rain. That is such a magic moment. :)

i love music, all music. music in video games is great. its funny, we have music so that we dont have to use words to describe... whatever we're trying to describe, but then we try to describe music n how it makes us feel, when the music does the describing for us, talk about irony.

if anyone can find the music to the part in the beginning where the story is running upward on the screen, it would be much appreciated. thanx for upping the whole soundtrack solid "snate"
