I've just read some comments and ohh gosh not this "old Muse" stuff again! They are changing, and that's why I love them. Just listen to Green Day or Linkin Park, their music is the same after so many years, but Muse always comes out some new sounds. I think Matt knows what he wants to do with his music, better then us. Nothing they do has sounded the same, they left what you could call a "comfort zone" with Resistance. I for one love the jazzy feel of the album. A song can be a B side for multiple reasons, such as the band doesn't feel that the song is good enough to be on the album, it's a cover of another band's song, it's a remix of a song on the album, etc... Take for example this song, Muse covered it from a band called Mega City Four, so they released this cover they made with THe Resistance single because they didn't think it was good

This ahhhhhhhhhh this is terrible. ANYONE yes anyone that believes the Resistance was remotely good don't actually properly like Muse. Their sound and style have been completely lost to Matt Bellamy playing up to the music industrys label that he is an idiosyncratic musician. The Resistance is not a Muse album, it is Matt Bellamys side project.
