Speaking of annoying banter. Ever notice in supposed 'action' films when there's something tense happening, people tend to do nothing but argue?

Like in 'Godzilla.' When they are being chased by this enormous lizard, they start arguing which roadway to take.

And think of it- why wouldn't that tornado have torn apart that WOODEN bridge before fully picking up the HEAVY METAL TRUCK?

I did wonder if she did expect to find her Dad in one of these funnel clouds, given how crazed she seemed.
