  • I plan on getting:

    JBA Cat4Ward Shorty Headers

    JBA Catted H-Pipe (GT)

From the H-Pipe 2 1/2 Inch piping to the

    SLP Loudmouth's

Think this will sound throatier and deeper?

  • @SuperFamousBro it will also have NTK Performance Oxygen Sensor Front And Rear!

  • sweet

  • Where exactly did you get the v6 SLP Loudmouth II's?

  • @SenileTomato You have to order the SLPs for the GT (duals). They don't carry duals for a V6

  • @LandoCalamando40 It was the Loudmouth II's that I had on there.

  • @krakestraw Is the catalytic converters on when u made this video? And did this setup that you had throw any check engine light warning’s on the dash? Because I want this setup. I just want to make sure that I can still pass inspection with it.

    Thanks

  • @tonymilitant Yeah, the Cat's are still on and my check engine light never turned on. I had this in Hawaii and they have some of the stricter emmisions tests and the car had no issues.

  • @krakestraw Okay thanks i found the Loudmouth mufflers, but i'd like to know something else, what type of catalytic converters were installed as well because i want it to soiund exactly yours did. And thanks for the fast response!

  • @tonymilitant That is actually the stock Cat installed

  • @krakestraw Nice Thanks man! :D

  • does the popping go away when warmed up?

  • @BrainWrapFilms The popping sounds did go away. I had just got this installed when I took the video. After about a week, it wasn't there anymore.

  • I have a question for you... Are those the loudmouth II mufflers or the loudmouth shotgun resonators? I'm trying to figure out which ones to get for my car.

  • The thing with the V6 is that it is limited by the power of the V8. So basically, because ford went with 315 on the V8, they had to make the V6 significantly less. The potential for power lies in the 4.0. Ford just literally had to get rid of some extra power.

  • check out my 05 v6 with long tubes and borla stingers. better videos to come with the supercharger installed.

  • Man, that sounds brutal!

  • dude in the 2005 v6 so you have to customize your pipe to a y pipe to install a slp pipe slp loudmouth?

  • very nice car but the engine is awful. 4.0L V6 and only 210 hp.

  • @christosganidis 245 ft. lbs. of torque tho. it can be fun :)

  • @christosganidis its not meant to be great. would you rather have a 2.5 I-4 making 210hp and 150lbs of torque or a 4.0l v6 making 210hp and 240lbs of torque. ill take the 4.0.

  • @turbonegro1120 no but you have to admit that 210 hp from 4L is too low.

  • @christosganidis cause it was roigionally designed for a truck. the v6 hp is always limited by the v8 hp. you cant havem a 250ho v6 until the gt which was 300hp gains more ho. since the news 5.0's make 412, they could put in an engine that makes 305hp

  • @turbonegro1120 ford duratec engine on focus rs:2,5L straight 5 300 hp

  • @christosganidis that engine is turbo'd. plus it would be way to expensive for that to be the base mustang engine. the duratec 3.7 in there now is pretty impressive for a base engine.

  • @turbonegro1120 i dont care what you say; the engine is prehistoric. top gear raced a v6 mustang convertible with an auto gearbox and it lost to a horse.

  • @christosganidis thats just stupid. im trying to actually talk with some who i thought was intellectually inclined. the 4.0 is an old engine designed originally in the early 90's. its great for what it is. now its replaced by newer engines.

  • @turbonegro1120 well it just isn't. it's not VERY powerful, it's not economic but it does makes a nice sound with the loudmouths. and as you said, it was designed in the early 90's and was being used until 2009. that's almost 20 years. the new v6s are indeed very good.

  • How did you hook up the loudmouth and which model is it? What kind of adapter do you need for the v6? Thank you

  • Sounds good!...A big change, from stock...i got an '08 GT I'm thinking about doing the same...

  • 4.0L mustangs really are great cars lol fuck those who say otherwise especially v8 mustang owners who hate on v6s...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH i hate the v8 owners who do that so much

  • @BoboboBoBoBoboSucks V8 is much nicer but more expensive in all aspects

  • man if ppl are talkin shit aobut this mustang than fuck em. there are all kinds of cars for everyone. u chose to get this one for your reasons. and im cool with that. hell if i had a v6 stang id be doin flips. nice vid man. im subbing u.

  • how much ?

  • when i bought my 06 v6 last year i got it for $11,000 with 25k miles, a stock gt with 25k miles was going for $24,000. i beat any stock gt now and the only part i have is a sct tuner that cost 500 bucks. people are fucking ignorant the gt is worthless.

  • @fourpointohh

I have a 5 speed 07 V6, and its slow as fuck even with a tune and bolt-ons.

  • @kuro243 then you clearly dont own one....the S197 with boltons and a tune can run into 12s

  • @fourpointohh i baught my 03 GT for 6k, 43,000 miles, kenne bell, pistons, heads and cam for less than your 06 the way it was, not only do i have the balls yours doesnt, im not the pussy with a v6, and i have the sound.

  • @randumbuller thats absolute bull, add another 10-15k to that price and it would be believable, plus i highly doubt your mustang, fictional or not, can beat my 09 v6

  • @ADD8oi 10-15k?? haha, no, its just a small kenne bell, pistons heads and slightly cammed. try about 4k for all of it. thats about 10k for 410 horse at the wheel. i still get 26 highway.

  • @randumbuller hang on, did you buy your car with all of that on it for that price or was the price of all of that that much? cause 03 GTs are still around 8 or 9k+ for 45k miles

  • @ADD8oi no i got it stock, it was actually my girlfriends dads, he buys and sells alot of musclecars, origionalmusclecars . com to be exact. he just let me buy it for what he got it for.

  • @randumbuller oh then my bad, i retract all previous statements, that is an amazing deal you got too haha, i have a couple mustangs myself, 09 bullitt and V6, kudos to your car man

  • lol! just got my SLP loudmouths today!!! so excited to put them on my mustang =D

  • can u tell me were u got dual slp's for your v6 im looking for some and cant find it i have a o7 i want to do it to it has a single stock muffler now i want dual slp's

  • slp dont sell loudmouth's for V6's. u got to buy a x or h pipe conversion kit then put on loudmouths like this guy did!

  • Whats the pricing?

  • does it still have the cats and is it an h pipe

  • are these loudmouth 1's or loudmouth 2's

  • Duhh SLP stopped making Loudmouths 1 & 2 in 2004. Theirs only 1 type of Slp loudmouth for the mustang gt 2005 - 2010 and its called ''LOUDMOUTH''.

  • what is that popping noise

  • its called afterburn, when gas in the exhaust burns on the hot exhaust pipes

  • a ford engine thing

  • very sexy

  • hey man it sounds good, would you mind posting a video of your car outside, so the sound doesn't bounce off all the walls of your garage?

  • that sounds like a piece of shit rice burner when revving.

  • wow the video that inspired me to do this on the dime, best v6 exhaust period.

  • that sounds terrible

  • dont take this the wrong way but that sounds like a stock v8

  • how do those do on the freeway? i cant really decide on what to get, im stuck between Corsa and SLPs.. i want a real muscle car sound for my v6 and i kinda would like to go dual exhaust too

  • you need to just get flowmasters its always been best for mustangs and ive had 7 of them

  • If you wanted a real muscles sound you should have bought a base V8. No point in making a Pouser sounding V6. Save a bit of money and trade it in for a new V8. Ford is offering great incentives now!

  • why does everyone assume that a v6 mustang with exhaust is trying to pose as a v8?

  • because the people that think that are retards

  • thank you, its just a V6 with an exhaust trying to be a V6 with an exhaust, nothing else

  • @atlanticblue98

Because most of these guys don't have a clue what their talking about and don't/will never own a v6 or v8 Mustang. Their just little internet losers who like to troll around all day starting crap with people because they have no life away from their keyboards.

  • @atlanticblue98 every car has it's haters

  • where not poser! i like the look and and the more aggressive sound of duel exhaust! V6 might be under powered and slow but we get more mpg and city and highway miles than V8's. plus insurance is low on them to.

  • ok i figured it out! you used a v6 x or h mid pipe and bought the gt loudmouths, so that they would fit it!

  • yes. thats what he did. thats what youd have to do on any new model v6. but the exhaust sounds and looks clean. nice work.

  • what is the set up cause i can't find any dual slp v6 loudmouth exhaust kit on SLP web site Plz tell me?

  • i was surprised by the sound. not too bad!

  • do you have an axle back with an h or x pipe, or do you have a cat back?

  • they only make axle back for the new ones. The <05 has the catback.

  • That sounds amazing for a V6. That 4.0 is pretty big. I have 3.8 and LS1 Firebirds. I'm from Mansfield btw, haha..

  • geez for a 6 cyl thts realy nice!

  • Sounds deep and sick

  • what setup do you have, just mufflers or headers too?

  • u live in ohio

    same

  • at WOT it will sound sooo bad, cant go too loud on the sixers, or else they do sound bad, im not flamming, i have an 07 sixer myself and i love it

  • it was a surprise on how good it sounded. def a 6, but it sounded good for a sixer.

  • ehhh ive always heard LM's dont sound very good on v6's. thats why i got my good old flows. so far they sound alright. can you post up maybe some flybys? or an in car video

  • idle*. lol.

  • Man alive, for a 6 cyl. that is LOUD at idol.

  • sounds good at idle....

  • goooooooooooooooooooooooood sound baby

  • x or h pipe?

  • orale homes muy bueno me gusta mucho....

  • V8 is Better...

  • @HemiCuda666 despite how im currently romping on GTs and other 8cylinders lol

  • coming from a cobra owner, thats a hell of a v6 sound, throw a turbo on that and ur golden. best exhaust ive heard yet for the v6 keep it up

  • orale orale

  • datz da way to go

  • did you have to cut your bumper to make it fit or did it fit just find

cuz i was thinling of switching mine to dual exhaust

  • Yea, you need to cut it or buy a GT bumper.

  • i know it woul look better

  • our gas right now is 1.239 cents a liter and here in Canada that with our gallon being 4.54 liters you can see it is 5.63 dollars a gallon. Ouch so for me a V6 made sense. And I already have a race car that runs 12's so what do I need a daily driver for the same thing. The GT's are great my buddy in fact has one but it is no match for the race car as he has only run a 13.65 and he has a ton of mods.

  • yea i would definately have the v-6 as a daily driver but im only 19 so one car is enough for me right now. the v-8 does kill me on gas but thats what the gsxr is for :) haha

  • Some of you trailer trash delinquents give the Mustang a bad name. It's so easy to use foul language on the internet, but the same mouth would be bleeding in the fighting cage.

  • sounds good man!

a lot deeper than my pypes mid muffler, but i like the tone> deepness

i bet you didn't like having to put those stickers on your bumper did you

  • what is with everyone and the "Just get a V8" bandwagon? I wonder why those people even bother posting. Nice car man keep up the good work.

  • cuz it only makes sense,

  • hey is that a 3in tailpipe coming out of that?

  • ok i guess your not going to go trade it for a GT cause u wouldnt have nought it if u wanted a GT but u definitly need a GT rear bumper for the exhaust cut outs, but alright sounding i guess

  • yea dude i think the best upgrade you could look into right now would be two more cylinders. sorry but why would you buy a v6 and throw money into it? you want a bad ass v6 get a 350z, you wanna be ricer

  • yea best upgrade= 2 more cylinders, lol

  • why go with a z bro, a Mustang is a Mustang no matter what you see fucking ricers pimping out fucking dodge neons, so go fuck your self,

  • Ricer? how is moding a V6 ricer? I got a V6 and well I live in Jersey and I cant afford a V8, let alone that gas is over $3.30/Gallon for 93.

  • dude i got a v6 some people arent as rich as you and can afford the shit. i put dual exhaust and a gt bumper on mine it looks exactly like a gt. people ask me all the time if its a gt because they cant tell. its not that big of a deal. plus how the fuck are you going to call a mustang a ricer. you are a complete idiot.

  • I agree man. All the people I talk with mustangs about being weather its friends or family members maybey.. or people at work.. when I say mustang they just think mustang.. then I go all into about the GT .. and they are always like majority of the time.. "oh? I only thought there was one type of mustang?" lol! Alot of people I can tell don't notice too much or just don't care weather its a GT or not you see? They just know it for being what it is a mustang. But its just what I have seen alot.

  • @06mustangsixer rice is more than just a japanese car. and a gt isnt much more, buying a v6 mustANG is literally just like buying a lamborghini gallardo, but the kit car on a fiero frame.

  • Got a V6 because my money goes into: 1) A home in the San Francisco bay area, 2) an investment account, 3) a retirement saving accounts, 4) vacations for my wife and I, 5) Ducati motorcycles, 6) other hobies in life.

A GT would be nice, but many other things in life mean more than two additional cylinders.

  • yeah, ok pal, a little to deep for "two additional cylinders" don't you think, but thats cool, DO NOT WANT TO PISS OFF YOUR WIFE, smart man.

  • LOL, BassPlayer. Just trying to make a point that there can be many reasons why someone might chose a V6 instead of the GT. The GT is a great car, no argue. But nothing beats a vacation in Fiji or the Bermudas... and a happy wife! Peace.

  • for sure man, that would be awesome to go to either of those places!

  • haha i really doubt if your a true car person or mustang fan, you would give up a gt for a few days in faggot fiji. I can see getting a v6 if you just like the rep. of mustangs or the body style of them but dont go buy one and run around thinkin your the king of the nieghborhood. and as for your stiff mormon cunt wife, man up and tell her if she doesn't like the gt she can suck your ball-less cock. peace

  • do you own a gt? look at my videos i own a gt, and i completely respect this guys decision to buy a v6. so do us a favor and either buy a v8 and shut the fuck up or don't buy one and shut the fuck up.

  • WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, I told him that its expensive to buy a GT an its cool that he take his wife cool places w/ the money he saved, you jackass, next time don't smoke crack and read the fucking comment CORRECTLY!.. THANK YOU

  • I saw some used GTs for about 25k on carmax, and they have under 20k mileage.

  • weak arguement, sorry. the two more cylinders dont cost that much more, and trust me they are completely worth the investment. ill never regret it

  • "Investment"?

No doubt the GT is nice and, to you, is worth the price. No one is arguing that. But, I don't know how wealthy you are, but an additional 5 or 6 grand IS a lot more to me. In fact, I bought my 2008 V6 at on the last day of 2007 for $14,995. This makes it a 10-thousand-dollar savings for me, every penny of which went into my investment account. Real investment, that is... not that of a depreciating car.

  • i am by no means rich lol and that is quite a deal i must say. i have a limited point of view though, i think mustang, i think of a v8 american muscle car, the v6 just doesnt do it for me. the v8 seemed well worth the extra insurance, gas, and initial cost to me, not trying to be offensive!

  • Understood. No offense taken! The GTs are nice, no doubt.

  • you are completely right. people who didn't buy v8s should be put to death every last fucking one of them... i'm glad you are around to police youtube videos spreading muscle car righteousness.

  • police? death? righteousness????? glad your on top of a 3 week old conversation...

  • MAKE THAT THINK POP!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha love that noise

  • man, when u gonna do some drive by's, i really want to hear what that sounds like before i switch exhaust, o and the true dual setup, hopefully with Hpipe

  • It pretty much sounds like straight pipes.

  • bad

  • does'nt sound like a mustang :*(

  • hey man i called the SLP manufacturers asking about what would be the best set up for a v6. they told me as of yet they havent worked on any v6's and if anything would recommend the powerflo's over the loudmouths. seeing as the loudmouth creates no back pressure and would seriously take away from HP. what do you think? dude seemed a little iffy

  • If you ever have time do a drive by and some normal driving

  • As of right now, it's just the mufflers. As soon as I come across some extra cash, I'm going to turn it into a true dual setup

  • yea what 121soldier asked..what all did you buy?

  • nice, i have dual flow40's but lookin for sumtin louder, theses sound great, do u have just the mufflers or do u have a hpipe xpipe O/R also?

  • if you have the money for SLP's and a new v6 mustang just get a 2003 GT or cobra or somethin man

  • one word... gay

  • for a V6, you cant go wrong with that note.

  • sounds great for a v6 man.. :)

  • where do i get this kit? Did you get the gt axle back kit or each individual tip? It sounds badass!

  • hey man i got the magna flow version and i like it but its not loud enough at idle. Is this a full slp system? If so where did you get it? THANKS!

  • Sorry for not replying to anything in awhile, been busy with work. I'm trying to get a day when I can take videos of drive by's and takeoffs.

  • does this guy who posted the bid ever respond?

any way ill keep asking more questions in hope of an answer. Are these LM1 or 2?

  • sorry, been busy. haven't had time to check up on messages. These are LM1's. I keep trying to get a day to take videos of takeoff and launch. But either I've got a lot of wind or rain, and my camera is sensitive to sound.

  • I won't even begin to fathom the logic of the "Import" crowd.

  • People have to realize that a standardized V6 will last you a lot longer than a GT. Not due to the fact that people run GT's harder than V6's. Regardless there is so much you can experiement with when it comes to a V6 internally. GT's are practically "there" since low-end car enthusiasts are more so about the power and sound than anything else. However, that sound is very nice, I can only imagine the look on the faces of GT and Cobra drivers when they pull up.

  • I agree totally!

  • that sounds like a tractor with a hole in the side of the muffler KIDS

  • for someone that doesnt like mustangs you sure go out of your way to look at them lol... I think you like them and just dont admit it .. kinda like myself with the new honda civic SI I really dont like it but I kinda do :P

  • Sounds REALLY good for a v6. I have a gt, and it doesn't sound that good!

  • hey can you make a vid of you launching and driveby???

then we can really hear how it sounds

  • shit ..that sounds better than my /Gt... sweet

  • your all dumb fucks who hate this video... it sounds awesome.. I really like it, it sounds more together than just GT take offs... Just remember to all you bastards who own GT's who call yourself REAL mustang owners.. without the V6 sales you wouldnt have your V8's... You think ford makes any money with GT's? you should be thanking people who bought V6's instead! yeah if you hate your own kind.. go buy a camaro when it comes out... TRADERS!

  • well said

  • I agree skoshi42 :) well said indeed! Ford definetly makes more money off the v6's then the v8's 100% and hating a v6 mustang cause you have or like a v8 mustang better is just plain hating your own :) And as for the comment before MistNin.. yea I agree with the mods thing 100% put a couple a thousand max and yea you got yourself a better GT for half the price :D

  • 70% of the mustang sales are V6ers in fords recent report

  • *Cheers* :D

  • First off, I hear alot of this about the V8. Obviously the V8 sounds better/louder and puts out a larger range of power than an engine with two less cylinders. A newer model GT costs between 23-26k, depending on your area, in Cali, they're around that much. A V6 of the same model runs you about 5 to 6k less than, dropped half of that into mod's that will run with lightly modded Cobra's/GT's.

  • v8 sound better its louder and puts out more power

  • why the fuck would you put exhaust on a fake v6 stang? You fucking douchebag lmao

  • cause it sounds great and unlike you he can afford the car and the pipes :D

  • your post doesnt even make sense you faggot lmao, He can't afford the GT, so he gets the lesser girl V6 version and puts money into it, I have the real mustang you moron.

  • i think it sounds pretty good, exceptfor those pops which you cant really help, resonators maybe? i bet its loud as hell huh?

  • sounds alot like a V8, especially when idling.

  • man i own a v6 stang and that sounds worse than the gt takeoffs. but everything sounds good at idle.

  • hey man that actually sounds pretty good

  • lol ya supra...w/e

  • sounds like a supra.. should of got the v-8
