  • Jimmy said he joined because he could tell that Billy really wanted the success... you can just see it when you look at him on stage... amazing.

  • Dude my dad knew billy corgon in high school he stopes out early

  • 0.52 is that Anthony Kiedis?

  • @VividSummeR I thought just the same!! :O

  • @VividSummeR That looks nothing like him.

  • this song is about him getting abused when he was a child.

  • For that 3 minutes...thousand of people were friends

  • i love billy's guitar

  • billy's voice used to be so fucking good. cheesus

  • @danrichards93 it still is, hes just doing some weird singing style now, dont believe me look up cottonwood symphony, thirty three live at rock AM ring, and gossamer shows ext. he said that hes singing differantly and going through different production for oceania, as much as i defend zeitgeist and teargarden i am glad he relized what was wrong witht he album and even though i love those 2 album they do have glaring flaws, aside from cottonwood symhpony and song for a son which are perfect to me

  • ...powerful

  • They should tour again with every show exactly like this concert. would be fucking unreal.

  • Young Billy... he looks so different with hair.

  • 6 people like crap

  • This is like Smashing Pumpkin's version of Glycerine

  • Is that Vin Diesel at :50?

  • @myhook :) That's Anthony Kiedis and not Vin Gasoline.

  • James lead part towards the end symbolizes what is now missing from the band.

  • @SpunAndDone He add it to A perfect circle . And I loved it .

  • @SpunAndDone

    i get it its magic

  • This song is so depressing, but so fucking amazing.

  • wow. its amazing how music translates through the artist to personal lives to a unified generation. this performance captures a moment in time where there is a honest connection between the band and the audience. this is why I like youtube.

  • greatest song of all time.

  • Best audience ever.

  • @desmurfenzijnblauw

Yeah it's so awesome you can clearly hear them see the first lyrics before Billy does

  • I'm 19 and I love this stuff. Good music is eternal!

  • This song is way better live. Even though its already great recorded, but this is just amazing.

  • It's such a shame we don't see this kind of innocence in Corgan's music anymore; the sort of youthful naivety on display here disarms me everytime.

  • @CityofMoltenLight Yeah totally agree. Billy is way too comfortable in his new life and isn't in touch with his old, vulnerable, self. So sad... What a waste of talent.....

  • i am wearing the same necklace as Billy's...i feel special now

  • would you look they are so happy every one we need this in the world again pop needs to redefine its self were are u kurt.

  • I Gonna CRy

  • is he laughing because the audience is desynchronized with his singing?, or because hes is about to cry?

  • @IamTheScorchedEarth he was insane

  • @angelizer999 thats actually quite probable

  • Intensity at its simplistic best .

  • I love the audience

must have been goosebumps for billy

  • @desmurfenzijnblauw man i have goosebumbs

  • heh heh i love how he starts to laugh, when they're early. he's so cute :D

  • i wish billy still had hair

it wouldn't change how awesome he is, though

  • 0:43 - Corgan thinks to self "Wonder what's on TV tonight.

  • 0:51 - that looks like Anthony Kiedis

  • @hambo24 thats what i thought

  • wow he can sing

  • best band ever hell ya corgan is 2nd to none, also love tool though but not SP!

  • I wasn't born yet...

  • this audience is retarded...singing wayyyy too early

  • @sjjeross4 lol. I always arrive drunk to a concert, so id probably do the same thing

  • @sjjeross4 its actualy billy thats singing out of time if u listen to the recording

  • He looks like Kirsten Dunst more than anybody

  • LOL

  • lol @ the audience singing too early over and over again

  • is this the same live t RATM played????

  • I just to be a little a boy

  • amazing song

  • Imagine the sense of validation i'm sure Billy feels after nearly going nuts writing those songs and that album, and then have like 60,000 people sing your song back at you. He's bearing the fruit of all that labor.

  • i like his jacket

  • this song is so fucking beautiful.

  • this is such a dream-like performance. from hummer right through this it's all got that dream-like quality. i wish so much i was tthere

  • i like it with drums alott.. haha

  • beautiful song.

  • Billy is hooooot

  • crowd doesnt know when the cues are

  • @TehInanimatePanda

HAha u can't blame the crowd cuz some of billys songs are a bit complicated. for example this song has different choruses.

Besides, its nice to see how happy he was that they knew his lyrics :)

  • james's solo is top notch

  • 1:05 that was beautiful

billy was soo happy u can see it

haa no homo but thats definitely one

heartwarming moment u cant help but smile xD

  • @xAcidekk he laughed because his balls dropped

  • billy se rie porque no puede creer toda esa gente cantando su tema. lo que se debe sentir eso. me da escalofrios con solo verlo, no me imagino ponerme en su lugar..

  • BEST BAND EVER!

  • Lol the crowd singing out of time

I gotta say it makes this performance even better

  • one of the greatest performances ever no matter the band song genre anything

  • I used to work as a cleaner in an old age home. I got to befriend an old man in his 80s who recounted all the horrible bombings during the london blitz back in 1941. He had an amazing long term memory despite his years. One day I had this song on cd in the background to help me clean his room and he said to me "I was only boy during the blitz and what on earth was a boy supposed to do??". He then shed a tear. THe poor guy. This song will be forever in my heart even though Clancy has passed on.

  • thats a great story

  • thats one of the saddest things ive heard in a long time.

  • @phileustace hhaha, your a big pussy dude

  • @phileustace i am thouched by that man great story

  • @phileustace i dont know what to say :(

  • @phileustace hahahahahaha is it wrong for me to laugh at this? haha

  • @thongdongalong .... its a fake story. 110 people fell for the trap except you, so laugh along brother. Let me join you ! 110 suckers hahahahahahaha !! BUAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!

  • @phileustace hahaha people love a good sob story haha

  • @thongdongalong ..... they sure do. Some even wrote back saying that they cried over what they thought was true. They "cried" over a sick joke ! HAHAHAHAHA !! BUAH HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

  • @phileustace You made that story up?? Bastard I told everyone I know that story. You suck

  • @thongdongalong Yeah

  • @phileustace "what on earth was a boy supposed to do?"...perhaps to surviveand endure is all we can do, as that old man did ...God bless him...I presume from your post he is probably long dead now...RIP Sir!

  • BEST SONG EVER!

    BEST BAND EVER!

  • u r so rite

  • amazing!! Billy is the best song writer ever!

  • Once again...all of these older songs are capturing the best. It's the essence. sssshhh sweet-

  • i like those rare moments where he smiles

  • he laughed because the crowd was singing the line a measure early

  • I think you're right. Sounds like a backward echo

  • 1st- this is the best live version of disarm ever

    2nd- D'arcy is hot

3rd- Billy Corgan is awesomer bald

  • Bill's singing real emotional like ese,

  • he's cracking up at the crowd lmao

  • love this. billy is so beautiful.

  • On a related note this is probably my favourite version of disarm

  • He looks so much more human with hair...

  • thats a freaking awesome performance.

  • Billy was 27 years old in 1994. I was 14 and was going to the same HS as Billy did in Illinois. He graduated in 1985 and I did so in 1998.

  • great crowd

  • Perfect!

  • He looks better with a shaved head.

  • but when he had long hair it looked sick

  • sick like gross? or awesome? lol, I'm sorry if this is a stupid question

  • I like the young billy Corgan

    XD

  • i like him with hair! :D

  • billy look so so good with long hair

  • Best Band Ever !

  • hell yea thank god i grew up with smashing pumpkins in my life

  • Que tiempos los de mi banda favorita, Smashing Pumpkins serán siempre Billy, James, D'arcy y Jimmy

  • the song of my life!!!

  • adoro msm esta musica.... The Smashing Pumpkins - Disarm (1994)....forever

  • the beer must've been flowing that day. lmao

  • Whatever you say, the crowd is awesome. I love to sing out loud at gigs. And check how happy Billy was :P

  • Billy with hair. This is great lol

  • look at billy in this live performance, he looks so happy and having fun, go to one of there performances today, he looks miserable at times. i think he misses darcy and james

  • I think at a lot of times he's expressing the songs' emotions. But you may be right about that. His new bandmates act more like stagehands. Jeff gets into it every once and a while but not enough. Like Billy's said before, he could get permanent new, perfect bandmates, but D'arcy and James would still be the ones who best understand what the Pumpkins are about. However, Billy still seems to put just as much heart into the performance of this in the Rock Am Ring in 07 as he does here imo.

  • great time!!!!!
