The starboard engine caught fire and it could not be extinguished. The fire intensified and it burned the right wing off. The plane and its passengers were doomed as it fell out of the air and crashed hard into the ocean killing all on board. The last moments of their lives had to be horrifying - but at least there was no prolonged suffering as death came immediately on impact. May they all rest in peace!
