In different places ALLAH says in Qur'an "Take what Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam gives you and reject what Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam says to reject".
Qur'an is pushing us to follow Hadith. If you are saying that Hadith is forged etc. Then you have any facts that Qur'an is correct?

That's why he was unable to support them with any historical facts as Ghamidi did in later part of the video. Ghamdi's support his arguments from Quran and Hadith was focal point through out this debate. He also remained extremely clam and poised whereas Dr. Israr looked frustrated at times.

Regarding Ghamidi Sahib, he never rejects Sunnah. He has categorically explained that it has the same authenticity and authority as of Qur'an. The way this Sunnah is determined, all great scholars have disagreed on the method. I, however, agree with Ghamidi's approach in determining the Sunnah as it is extremely robust way instead of simply relying only on isolated reports (ahadith). In his methodology, hadith is one of many sources that are used to determine Sunnah.

I respect both of the Alims..but i have never been satisfied by Mr. Ghamidi's answers. Dr. Israr do keep a firm and sound grip on Islamic teachings..Dr. Israr was a remarkable gift of Allah.

@zubimama001 Well, if not kuffaar, then at least every non-salafi muslims is considered by them as one of the ahl-al-bid'ah. (Illa ma sha Allah). I know them very well. They are very keen in "exposing" bid'aat of others. I can't post links here but in internet you can find articles by them, where they are exposing "deviance" of almost all groupings of indo-pak. I can tell you, they have not even spared ahl-e-hadith because of their "deviance" of taking part in elections.

Just a day before the demise of Dr. Israr Saheb, a Salafi mullah was "exposing" the deviance of Dr. Saheb by declaring him a sufi and a believer in wahdat ul wujood. In reality, that Jaahil mullah has never understood the real standpoint of Dr. saheb on that subject. Just by dressing yourself like Saudis does not make one a scholar.

I think it is highly offensive to talk like this about any of the Sahaba. though we can discuss and see who was wrong, we should not do it for our own sake as it has no benefit to us and the dangers of falling into a war is much greater.
