I will just add that Solaris is a SF novel by Stanilas Lem, polish writter. A remake of the Tarkosky movie that have been made some years ago by hollywood - not bad at all but may be just a bit too coloured :)

the eternal sun runs to the mother

she smoothes his brow and bids him drink

from her well of hammered mist

come along sweet lad

fog rises from the ground

the falling soot is just the dust of a simmering gem
