The best graphics of any RPG.

too bad the game wasn't as big as they made it seem. You get a map, but when you zoom out, you see how huge the world is but that map is pretty much useless, since its such a linear game. No real choices can be made, and the ending is barely effected by decisions you make

Actually, the endings are affected a lot of you think OUTSIDE of Geralt's perspective. Geralt's story itself doesn't get affected much but the Witcher universe itself changes completely depending on what choices you made. And the game's not linear at all.

@ocanator It's only linear because you move from place to place after finishing each one. The places in the game are quite big and get bigger as you go. Choices do affect the game and they come back on you later in the game. It puts Skyrim to shame in this regard and you get to know the characters a lot more.

but they sepcialise in old games like Baldurs Gate and Planescape except the mod them to run on modern windows, no DRM either

Totally agree there. The Witcher 2 and Skyrim are made with so much care, enthusiasm, professionalism and love. They look amazing based on the videos so far and I'm pretty sure they are/will be.
