Excelente QT es un GENIO con mayusculas! Bastardos es un cinta muy bien lograda y cada una de las escenas estan cargadas de un poder increible,me gusto mucho este video, mas sin embargo no siento que ver los making off le quita como algo de la magia! GRACIAS!
I take it QT is not fluent in French or German? It must've been interesting to direct people speaking a language you don't fully understand, he must've given them partial freedom, right? Challenging job...
Brad Pitt has been in some terrible movies, but he's a fine actor. I love Fight Club and he did fantastic, as well as in Inglourious Basterds. He's great.
@ReQleq because they are doing it from multiple angles and various problems can occur that have nothing to do with the acting such as lighting, sound recording, etc.
@SerenityHalo and its just a smart thing to do. QT actually doesn't spend long at all shooting, he spent only 12 weeks on IB and 6 on Pulp Fiction. Compare that to Kubrick, who spent 460 days shooting Eyes Wide Shut, Ridley Scott, who never spends less then 4 months on a film, or James Cameron, who took over a year to shoot Titanic and Avatar (not even counting post production and special effects generation).
@ReQleq If you quit on take 2 or 3, you may not be able to explore how deep a scene can be than if you went to take 10 or 11. If you think this is crazy, check out Stanley Kubrick's work. He averaged 40-50 takes a shot and often spent over a year per picture on principal photography alone. He holds the record of takes on a scene with dialogue with 150+ takes (they say) in the Shining. The Making of The Shining or Full Metal Jacket gives great insight to this and you can find them both on youtube.
filme machen ist ennervierend, anstrengend und auch langweilig,zwischendurch.....das produkt ,wie in diesem falle, natrülich erste sahne....aber etwas langatmig auch...
Does tarrantino have like all the power when it comes to his movie? I mean he writes the script and he's the director, but he also hand chose brand Pitt and probably others.
interesting question! i think quentin as an independant director usually would have total contral, however ....he farmed this film to universal so they surely had some influence, although it's probably not noticable in the movie.
Agreed. Tyler Durden in Fight Club is just one example of many great roles he has made. He sure has done quite alot of awesome roles during his career.
I bet Tarantino is the most awesome and fun director that an actor could ever work with. Hell, if I were an actor, I would drop every project I was doing just to work with him.

This movie is probably the first time i really appreciate brad pitt as an actor. some other movies he's ok in but this one is great!
RoadOcean 2 years ago
You're an idiot.
Brad Pitt was one of the greatest actors of our times, eons before Inglorious Basterds.
UTARAmedia 2 years ago 19
So? I liked some of his prior movies, like fight club and snatch. but he's not one of my favourite actor.
RoadOcean 2 years ago
It's fine if you don't ''like'' him. I'm really not a huge Fight Club fan myself, but I appreciate its quality.
But if it took you THIS long to appreciate him. You can not have liked him. But to appreciate an actors talent means you recognize their talent.
I think you just worded that wrong, is all. My bad.
