Since when does a company need a blanket waiver from liability before it can invest and innovate? We can't throw out our ability to bring legitimate suits in order to protect companies from frivolous ones.

You fuckin idiots! People don't need robots, people need LOVE people need the touch of another person , the presence of an spirit.... do you realyy want a world with robits? fucking punks... this will move us one step closer to hell....
You can't deny the propagation of future technology as it is inevitable.
However I agree with you about people needing more love, robots certainly can't do that, but don't put down the people that keep our world moving forward.
Liability falls with the production site when it involves manufacturing robotics.
A real life issue about combat robotics is the Vulcan Phalanx. In combat, once a pilot is shot out of his or her aircraft, they are no longer a threat according the the Geneva Convention laws. A CIWS system will continue to shoot a target until it is completely destroyed and this can very well include a pilot decending in a white parachute. To shoot such a pilot is a violation of the rules of war.
I still prefer humans than robots.

I agree... but in 1 minute and 34 seconds, it's hard to say much of anything at all.
