@rachierachie46 its slightly painful the first time especially if you don't put it in at an angle and taking it out is generally painless unless it hasn't absorbed enough. Honestly just try it makes your period so much easier :) good luck

If ur worried about going to sleep at night when ur on ur period and ur afraid the pad won't help then I would recommend when u put ur pad on make sure to put the pad more to the back of ur underwear becuz the blood travels to the back as u lay down. Another option is to either place a towel on ur bed in case blood goes through, or u can buy night period pads I recommend the always brand.

@Reaching4TheStars218 you probably will get your period soon or within the next couple months, especially if your mom got it around 13. you can keep a pantiliner on your underwear to catch the discharge, it will feel much better and fresher. also make sure you always have a pad with you so when you get it, your ready:))

oh god...i remember the first time i ever tried to use a tampon. It was right before PE started and i had my two friends come with me to the bathroom. They didnt have pads so I went to the office and asked (awkwardly) for a pad, and they gave me a mother effing tampon.
