Man that series did so well and was number 1 in the Neilsen Ratings because it debuted during the writers strike and NBC are assholes for taking the show off the air in just 2 seasons.

If you read his web page, he wanted to have something like assaXIN, choXIN, XINister, etc. but the Producers gave him Zen because it was close to Xin.

That's American Television for you, oh, and the reason he wore none of his trademark gear is because then that would belong to American Gladiator.

Dude they pick glatiators that are best at whatever obstical they have next. they use smaller more nimble glatiators for climbing and heavy guys for more contact stuff. BTW those big glatiators probably would get beaten climbing the wall.

Pure brute strength and size doesn't always win against technique or speed.

Just think of Bruce Li who could take on opponents way bigger and stronger than himself, but was perfectly capable to disable and defeat them. That is why I love and respect Martial Arts!
