@iProtoShot The Z4 2.8 was a 2.5 litre or a 2.8 litre till 2010 then came the Z4 2.8 which became a 3.0 and the Z4 35i\35is, both of which are 3.0 litres, only the IS is the turbo model. 2010 models and before with the 35 were 3.0 litre N54 twin turbos.The new 2011 135/335/535/640 series cars all have the new single turbo N55 engine.This had to be a race with a Z4 2.8 with the 250 hp 3.0litre six...not the Z435 or 35is turbo models, as they would've beaten the SLK badly..SLK still got beat here
slk doesn't have launch control just the clasical power brake from regular automatics with torque convertor. Anyway, was it the 272 hp version or the 305 hp ?

@barjomi100 Actually, their not 3.5L when you see 335 or 135 or Z4 35, Their 3L Twin Turbo's i belive.
