How much in your opinion did the XPA-3 help with your receiver? Did the (2)4 surrounds pick up anything power wise? I am considering whether to get a XPA-5 or XPA-3 for my 7.1 Paradigm Studio speakers
@chrisdogmlb - The XPA helped in the biggest way. You can turn up the volume without any distortion at all. They really allow the Studio's shine. Didn't notice any difference in the surounds at all though even though the Receiver wasn't taxed with providing power to the front three.
