I cant Decide if Frieza is stronger then cooler cause in The movie Cooler didn't even hurt goku in his ssj form but in the Frieza saga he was actually going toe to toe with goku
@kdogmaster u r right the according to the official power-levels: Goku has a power level of 150,000,000 when he fought Freiza as a super saiyan while Cooler has a power of 470,000,000 in his final form, more than 3 time Goku's. Goku has obviously gotten stronger since his fight with Freiza.
@The136th Those power levels aren't true. The have Cooler's armed squadron as barely above Captain Ginyu and Salza is weaker the Doore and that's not true.
Plus when you go SSJ its said you lose control and become wild. You can kind of see that in Goku's fight with Frieza. When he tells frieza he's done fighting, and his power is dropping like a brick. In my view he got bored with him, and didn't view him as a challenge. He could of defeated him after transforming but wanted to test his new power.

Cooler was indeed more powerful than Frieza, his kai generated faster, and his supernova attack was capable of destroying the sun! DBZ Sagas needed Cooler and Broly to be "Saga" vilians who were RIGHT after one another. Cooler could have showed up - stalking and killing the Z-Fighters, then Broly coulda sensed it from a different galaxy - slowly hunting the survivors after Cooler got murdererd. Interesting that they didn't develop Goten like they did Goku or Gohan. That actually kinda pissed me off for the longest time (it still does), since Goku is literally legendary and Gohan is incredibly powerful. I guess since Goten is never angry, we never see his true potential.

"The Legendary Super Saiyan" Movie + "Cooler's revenge" were the best personally, they had the best rocking soundtracks that fit the battles, especially Cooler's revenge.

THE KING!!! Who constantly got his ass handed to him... after the frieza saga he was pretty much fodder. i mean i love the character but still.
and vegeta didn't stay terrified. he did grow a pair, rush into battle, and then had them ripped off. but it was a nice effort

Still, team work reminiscent of the Z Warriors vs Nappa/Vegeta or battles as brutal as Zarbon vs Vegeta would have helped.
Actually, as I gaze upon my favourite anime ever again, I realize it really descends into redundance at the start of the second half of the series.

Actually, I was also referring to the moment when Goku gives Krillin the spirit bomb energy why Gohan is holding Vegeta off and all that complex stuff. That's what made DBZ.
Interesting that they didn't develop Goten like they did Goku or Gohan. That actually kinda pissed me off for the longest time (it still does), since Goku is literally legendary and Gohan is incredibly powerful. I guess since Goten is never angry, we never see his true potential.
